[Updated] Cube Entertainment and DSP Media confirm break up of Junhyung and Hara couple

The agencies of Hara and Junhyung have now confirmed the news of the couple’s break up after getting in contact with the idols themselves.

Several insiders in the music industry revealed that the two had parted and decided to remain as friends, and fans have been looking to Cube Entertainment and DSP Media to offer comments on the matter.
Having contacted the idols, reps of both agencies have received word that the two stars have indeed decided to go their separate ways.

DSP Media reps commented, “Due to their busy schedules and KARA’s stay in Japan for their promotions, their meetings have become scarce, and eventually they drifted apart… They decided to remain as good friends in the music industry.”

Cube Entertainment also offered similar comments, stating, “Junhyung and Hara have recently ended their relationship… The two will continue to remain good friends.”

"Hara and Junhyung have ended their relationship, which they've maintained since June of 2011, and have decided to remain as good sunbae-hoobae in the music industry, and oppa-dongseng. The two continued their relationship under the interest of many fans and the public as the music industry's 'official couple'. However, with their meetings becoming less and less as they each carried out their own activities and handled many domestic and international promotions, the two naturally drifted apart.

On the 15th, when the news of the two unfollowing each other broke, they were at a state in which they had not yet finished sorting out their relationship matter. After this day, having decided to go their separate ways after much thought, the two even exchanged text messages with one another even after breaking up to ask how each other was doing, and currently have a good sunbae and hoobae relationship. Please give the two your encouragement and words of support."]

BEAST Yong Jun Hyung's "Living Without You" Steam Rolling on Music Charts

After releasing “Living Without You” at 12am on February 3, the single is currently making a killing on online charts. On January 26, “I Knew It” had also made #1 on music charts. It appears that BEAST is taking the #1 spot every week! 

The song is BEAST Yong Jun Hyung’s first single and also written by him. The song is a special one prepared for the BEAST world tour concert “Beautiful Show.” “Living Without You” contains a classy hip hop rhythm with Yong Jung Hyung’s emotional lyrics. Huh Gak releases "I Told You, I Want To Die" MV ft. BEAST's Junhyung, Kang Sora, and Lee Hyunjin

The conclusion to the love triangle between BEAST's Junhyung, Kang Sora, and Lee Hyunjin has finally been revealed after 2 months of waiting! Huh Gak released his digital single "I Told You, I Want To Die" on November 8th, which included the song Elegiaco and the drama version of the title song, which includes narrations.

Huh Gak became one of the most successful Superstar K contestants after debuting with the track "Hello," winning several awards in the process as well as receiving a lot of love from the public.

The music video begins with a visibly upset Junhyung sitting atop a roof and Lee Hyunjin runs to his side with worry. Lee Hyunjin runs off, grabbing his helmet and driving off in his motorcycle, while an excited and smiling Kang Sora waits for him at a bus stop.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyunjin had gone to fine the mob who had hurt his best friend and ignores the text message Kang Sora had sent him. Eventually, Lee Hyunjin is overpowered as backup for the mobsters arrive and is beaten down...until Junhyung arrives, and together, the two continues to fight together.

Meanwhile, their managements showed cautious response to their relationship. DSP Entertainment and CUBE Entertainment had met with ‘Dispatch’ on the night of the 27th and stated, “KARA and BEAST members have a very close relationships. We had no idea that it had developed into something more than friends.”

The two managements stated, “After checking with them specifically, it is true that they have good feelings toward each other, however they are in the stage of getting to know each other. We believe about a month passed for them so we hope that people will be watching for a little longer.”

Beast member Yong Junhyung revealed a selca for his fans after a long absence.

On the 23rd of March, he posted a photo on his Twitter with the words ” Lately I have not shown my face (so I uploaded this picture)”.

In the photo, Junhyung is wearing a black roundneck T-shirt with a leopard print hat. His neat style and still handsome appearance even without any makeup attracted attention.

B2ST’s Junhyung will finally stand on stage as Wheesung’s rapper

Singer Wheesung will finally be joined by his original guest-rapper, B2ST’s Junhyung, for his ‘Words that Freeze My Heart’ performances on music programs.

Last week, Wheesung had stood on stage with INFINITE’s Hoya because Junhyung’s group activities made it difficult for him to coordinate with Wheesung’s schedules. As such, Hoya had filled in for Junhyung on all three major broadcast programs.

However, Junhyung had strongly expressed his desire to stand on stage with his sunbae Wheesung, even if it meant changing up his group’s schedule. Reportedly, Junhyung said, “It was hard to stand on Wheesung’s comeback stage as I was chased by B2ST’s group activities, but I want to reschedule so I can make the respected sunbae’s stage shine more.”

The rapper’s ardent wish was finally granted, and now he’ll be performing alongside Wheesung for this week’s episodes of ‘M!Countdown’, ‘Music Bank’, ‘Show! Music Core’, and ‘Inkigayo’.

Wheesung has expressed his anticipation for the collaborative stage, and complimented Junhyung with, “A rapper who can control the tempo of emotion and logic with both skill and appeal”.

Their first stage of ‘Words that Freeze My Heart’ will be performed on March 24th’s episode of ‘M!Countdown’.

‘First Solo Concert’ Navi “I was tricked by BEAST”

B2ST shares their pre-debut experiences and thoughts on being called a ‘recycled group’

On February 19th, the members of B2ST guested on KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Relay“, and were interviewed about both their pre-debut and post-debut experiences.

When asked by the reporter on how they came up with their name, Yoseob replied, “Before our debut, a foreign dance instructor came to visit and saw us dance. At the time, he exclaimed, ‘So~ Beast!’ The meaning of the word means that it’s ‘cool’ or ‘amazing.’”

“Do you remember October 16th, 2009?” the reporter asked. Junhyung said, “Yes, we were all very nervous. We had rehearsed so much that our conditions weren’t the best. Yoseob was really upset about going off key a tiny bit, but to our ears, we couldn’t tell.”

Yoseob added, “Yes, I cried a lot…”

Kikwang continued, “To me, it was an opportunity for me to do better.”



The members are also known for their rich experiences prior to forming B2ST; Doojoon was with JYP Entertainment’s “Hot Blood“, Junhyung was part of boy band XING, Kikwang had a solo career as AJ, and Hyunseung was with Big Bang.

Unfortunately, their old nickname – ‘recycled group’ – surfaced during the interview. Doojoon reflected, “I was really mad, but… It’s the truth, what can I say? To me, the word ‘recycle’ didn’t make me feel that bad.”

Dongwoon continued, “Because either way, we were recycled and are now B2ST.. but we were most worried about our fans being hurt by it.

A year later, they overcame all obstacles and took home their first music program win. They exclaimed, “We cried a lot, more than you could imagine. There was a nice weight to the trophy..”

When asked to pick a member who ‘improved’ the most looks-wise, Kikwang chose himself and explained, “I used to live in Yongsanpo… but living in Seoul now, I really do think I’ve improved in my looks.”

“For the First Time” BEAST Yong Junhyung’s ‘victory’ in the ‘Street Party’ competition

[Sports Today’s reporter Kang Kyung Rok] On the episode of MBC “For the First Time” aired on the 19th, a competition between the BEAST members was shown on the ‘Street Party’ corner of the show.

The first battle was between Yoon Doojoon and Jang Hyunseung. In this game, the first person to take off the other’s stocking is the victor.

The result is Yoon Doojoon’s dumbfounding loss. In this battle, Yoon Doojoon lifted his leg and provoked Hyunseung. However, the provocation was only temporary, as Hyunseung stole the stocking from Doojoon and won.

The second battle that took place was between Yong Junhyung and the maknae who seems like the bigger hyung, Son Dongwoon. However, even before the MC’s read the profiles of the two, the game ended dryly with Yong Junhyung’s victory.

The championship game was between Jang Hyunseung and Yong Junhyung. In the final game, stockings are worn on both feet and the one to take off the other’s stockings is the victor. As the two people competed seriously, Yong Junhyung took off both of Hyunseung’s stockings and was the champion of the game.

Meanwhile, in this episode, Beast showed a different and fresh charm.

Doojoon's Son Dambi impersonation incident in a fake date with Rainbow?

Yoon Doojoon who had starred in MBC's gag program 'First Time Ever' has created an uproar by doing a Son Dambi impersonation.

In one corner of the recent program 'First Time Ever' called 'I want to know Beast' filming, BEAST starred as a guest and were tested on their variety show skills. Because of this, they were set up to do a fake date with Rainbow. The corner that shows how the BEAST members react to Rainbow's outbreak of actions.

BEAST's Doojoon who usually is called the boyfriend idol learned the Son Dambi impersonation from Rainbow's Seungah. But Doojoon soon improved than Seungah and showed a perfect Son Dambi impersonation.

Not only the impersonation but even the expressions and poses were the same which made everyone in the studio laugh. The MCs said "Doojoon who wins Seungah who also has an odd personality" and rated Doojoon's variety show skills high.

BEAST's Yoseob who had met Rainbow's Noeul in the date was bewildered at first but soon followed Noeul's rabbit impersonation and showed his idol- cuteness terminator self.

BEAST's Junhyung met Jaekyeong, Hyunyoung and Woori as a 3:1 date and showed a shy image which was different from his usual BEAST stages.

After the BEAST members' dates were over, the 'variety show skills' first place was awarded to Doojoon who even surprised Seungah.

The fake date where Doojoon does his Son Dambi impersonation with Rainbow will be show on the 19th.

B2ST’s Yoseob rises as one of Korea’s most respected idols

Yoseob’s Twitter post created a buzz in the industry, as it asked B2ST’s fanbase to apologize for their baseless attacks made against another celebrity. Consequently, he’s risen as one of the most respected and mannerly idols in Korea.

He’s caught the attention of many industry representatives for being an exception; he’s one of the few, if not only, celebrities that had the guts to ask his fans to fix their wrongdoings.

Regarding the controversy, Yoseob and Junhyung met with Sports Chosun, and have earned the praise of the public once again for their deep words.

Junhyung revealed, “I’m not sure why those rumors came about.  I myself asked my company whether the rumor was true, and they said it wasn’t.  Since it wasn’t true, I thought that it’d be okay, but I was so surprised at what was happening.  We’ve seen so many hateful comments ever since our debut, and of course, there still are some.. but we try not to pay attention to them as much anymore.  We’ve become numb to them.”

Yoseob further added, “There’s a clear difference between attacking and criticizing. I was deeply hurt by a lot of hateful replies at the start of our debut.  Although I’m numb to them now, I was miserable at the time. I’m a man, so I can hold it in to a certain point, but that person (Rainbow’s Jaekyung) is a woman.  I know that she was hurt by the ordeal, which is what led me to write that Twitter post.”
B2ST is currently filming for their Japanese music video, and will be holding their encore concerts on February 18th and 19th.

B2ST’s fanbase posts an apology in response to Yoseob’s tweet

Yesterday, Yoseob took to his Twitter and asked fans to stop terrorizing Rainbow’s Jaekyung’s homepage because of casting rumors for ”We Got Married.” In response to the reprimand, B2ST’s fanclub ‘B2UTY’ has issued an official apology.

Yoseob previously expressed through his Twitter: “Because of the people that spat out words without any thought, the wounds are still not healing. It’s the same for anyone else, if not me.  No matter how it’s done or who they are, what I’m saying is that you cannot harm people.  Apologize.  Or shall I apologize on behalf of you?”

On January 7th, an apology was put up on the group’s official fancafe stating:

“B2UTY Official Apology
Us B2UTYs would like to make an official apology.  We’ve caused much damage towards SHINee and the SHINee World fandom.  People under the name of B2UTY have left unrespectable posts in the SHINee fancafe and have made it embarrassing for even the stars themselves to see each other without embarrassment.
Regarding the ‘We Got Married’ rumor casting between B2ST’s Junhyung and Jaekyung, many unrespectable B2UTYs have terrorized and left hateful messages on Jaekyung’s homepage, deeply wounding her.  We truly believe that as a woman, she has been deeply hurt, and we would like to genuinely apologize for that.
For a while, B2UTYs cherished an image of respect, but due to a few unrespectable B2UTYs, it seems as if that image has not been able to be held.  We would like to apologize for the fact that we even have unrespectable B2UTYs.
From now on, we will be working hard in order to hear that we are a respectable fanbase once again.
Once again, we would like to deeply apologize.“

Netizens have applauded the efforts of both that B2ST’s fanbase and Yoseob, as the latter stepped forward to stop cyber-bullying, and the former had genuinely apologized for the trouble.

Yong Junhyung and Yang Yoseob who are currently doing activities as a unit performed 'Thanks to' on January 7th PM in KBS 2TV 'Music Bank'(MC Hyunwoo, Kim Minji) live broadcast located in Seoul Yeouido KBS New Wing Public Hall.

'Thanks to' was a unit song revealed on December 12, 2010 on BEAST's first solo concert. Before going on the stage, Yang Yoseob and Yong Junhyung met an editor in the waiting room and said "We never knew we will be performing in music programs with this song" and "If we knew, we should have been more devoted to making the song."

Yong Junhyung and Yang Yoseob presented another charm with their duet unit song different from BEAST. Yang Yoseob's high tone vocal and Yong Junhyung's low tone rap presented exquisite harmony, making the fans flutter.

On the other hand, on this day's 'Music Bank', TVXQ and Secret, Joo, Infinite came back and girl groups Dal Shabet and Piggy Dolls debuted. In addition, First, Kil Hakmi, Kim Baksa, Sunny Side, Tim, F.Cuz, Orange Caramel, T-ARA, BEAST Yong Junhyung & Yang Yoseob and IU performed.
