Leeteuk sends a message of encouragement to Yesung on enlisting

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk sent Yesung a message of encouragement on his plan of enlistment.
On March 27, Leeteuk was appointed a PR ambassador along with Sangchu at the Seoul Military Manpower Administration’s 10th annual military ambassador ceremony. At the ceremony, Leeteuk said, “When I was out in society, I was able to eat and do anything I wanted. After I enlisted, I realized I was happy and appreciated for all the small things. I also realized how precious people were. Yesung is going to enlist soon, and I want to tell him to have strength. I know Yesung must be nervous, wondering if he’s going to do well. On January 8th, Super Junior‘s Leeteuk shared photos of their group dinner together following the end of a successful day.

Leeteuk’s sister is excited that her brother will be enlisting in the military?

Leeteuk‘s sister shared her thoughts on her brother enlisting in the Korean military.

On a recent episode of SBS Plus ‘Choi Yang Lak & Jung Chan Woo’s Cash Taxi‘, Park In Young, the sister of Leeteuk and her colleague Seo Ji Young got on board the cash cab.

Park In Young is currently working as a reporter for SBS ‘Midnight TV Entertainment‘ and both her and Seo Ji Young rode the cash cab in order to gift their ‘Midnight TV’ staff members with snacks.

While having a conversation, Park In Young excitedly remarked, “Leeteuk is going to be enlisting in the military soon. I think I’m going to have to upgrade my position and presence at home while he is gone.”

When the MCs asked why she was so eager to get rid of him, her colleague Seo Ji Young remarked, “There are different levels in the Leeteuk household. ‘We Got Married’ reveals Leeteuk’s middle school photos & grades

On November 26th, MBC TV‘s ‘We Got Married‘ aired and featured a school date between Super Junior leader Leeteuk and actress Kang Sora.

The couple paid a visit to a school office, where they were warmly welcomed by Leeteuk’s middle school homeroom teacher. On November 4th, Leeteuk aimed to show off his new haircut, but got distracted by a visitor from behind.
“Was so busy I didn’t even have time to cut my hair these days. But my hair is chopped off now, and I’m off to get my MC hairstyle done. But who’s this in the back? Looks like a ghost that’s come to haunt me,” he wrote.

Fans flock in front of Super Junior’s hotel

On October 23rd, Super Junior‘s leader Leeteuk shared a few photos from New York City!

The idol tweeted, “I’m in New York. I will return after an epic concert. Thanks for the warm welcome.”

He continued, “It’s late in the evening, but our beautiful fans are still standing outside our hotel.  It’s cold, so please return home safely as soon as possible. Thank you so much.”

Leeteuk reflects on his new role as MC on ‘Star King’

Boom and Super Junior leader Leeteuk recently took over as the hosts of ‘Star King‘ after Kang Ho Dong made his widely publicized departure earlier this month.
The first episode of ‘Star King’ with Leeteuk and Boom hit a surprising 10% viewer ratings. When Lee Teuk was intervewied about the episode, he stated, “Before the day of recording, I could not sleep at all. I think I read the script about ten times more than usual. I felt like I was debuting again. Then I remembered the words of Kang Ho Dong hyung-nim. He had taught me to always treat the guests with respect and make them the stars of the show.”
Kang Ho Dong leaving the show had made Lee Teuk realize how important of a figure he was.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk cries as Heechul gives his final words on ‘Inkigayo’

On this week’s broadcast of SBS’s ‘Inkigayo‘, Super Junior  received their second consecutive Mutizen award for their latest hit, “Mr. Simple”.

This week’s win was a lot more meaningful for both the group and their fans, since it was the last music show for member Kim Heechul before he withdraws for army service on September 1st.

It seems that out of all the Super Junior members, leader Leeteuk was hit hardest by his emotions. Overwhelmed, Leeteuk’s tears flowed down uncontrollably as he gave his thank you speech and hugged Heechul tightly in his arms.

Leeteuk expressed, “Thank you to everyone who has given us love. Heechul is also leaving for the army soon, so thank you for giving us such a special gift.”

Heechul added, “This was my last stage before the army. It feels great to have been given such a special award before my leave. I’m always thankful to Jungsoo (Leeteuk) as well as the other members. For the fans who have loved us, I love you too. ‘Gossip House’, OnStyle’s TV tabloid, released the results for the cheeky poll titled ‘The Male Star with the most Suspicious Face-off’.

In a survey about the nation’s most handsome male stars who have the most suspicious face-offs, who were chosen for looking different from their past selves, 545 netizens voted through the portal site Daum from the 11th to the 16th.

A: I always wanted to do a duet with Leeteuk, and I was really happy to have done it. Oppa must have been tired from many of his schedules, but he was very kind and took care of me. There were consecutive touching moments~!

Q: The jacket photos are very nice and seem to be like wedding pictures. Is there an episode while you were shooting for this?

A: There were many scenes where we had to hold ice creams, to fit the song title. Because it was indoors, the ice creams melted very quickly, so Teukie oppa and I had to keep eating it, to not spil it~ But in the end, it was all over our clothes and hands ^^
