JYJ discusses “In Heaven”, the meaning of ‘PSM’ & dreaming of Yunho & Changmin

On September 30th, the members of JYJ met up with reporters for their “In Heaven” press conference at a cafe in Jungdong, Seoul.  In a heartfelt interview, the men answered questions regarding TVXQ, their recent controversy with ‘PSM‘, and their hopes for the future.

Jaejoong began,

“First of all, this album is one that contains all of our memories and feelings over the course of the past two years.  It’s an album that has a lot of scents in it.  There are tracks that convey our honest feelings, as well as tracks that beat around the bush in expressing ourselves.  No matter how much we beat around the bush, though, those that have been with us through it all will know what to imagine while listening to these songs while the regular public will just listen to the song for what it is.  It’s an album with a passcode.  Like I stated, it’s an album that contains everything we’ve felt and done over the past two years.”

Junsu continued, “I worked on the album by conversing a lot with the other members.  It’s an album that shows the true colors of JYJ.  I believe that we were able to create such a great result because we regarded as the production of it as a positive opportunity and experience.”
Jaejoong added, “The reason we started our individual activities was to get the name of JYJ out there.  Since the three of us cannot go out on music programs, we had no option but to get JYJ’s name known individually.”

Junsu stated,

“We began our careers as singers and I hope that we’ll continue to eternally walk down the path of a singer.  Because we’re restricted in so many areas as singers, we decided to take the performance route.  Even if it’s hard to see us on TV, we’re trying to work with our fans by performing at events and fan meetings, as well as other small events.  Our focus is on creating an environment where we can communicate with our fans and enjoy the performance aspect of it together.  A concert is not just a place where we show what we want to show, but a place where we can converse with them.”

When asked what ‘PSM’ meant in their song “Pierrot“, Jaejoong stated,

“It’s weird that a song that’s not even our title track is worthy of being in the media headlines for not passing regulations, but it’s actually quite heartbreaking.  SBS actually asked us what ‘PSM’ meant, meaning that they’ll give us a chance even if it wasn’t okay to pass.  KBS, however, didn’t even give us that chance and just interpreted it however they wanted to, completely ignoring the creator’s intent.  That is so frustrating.”

He continued,

“PSM stands for ‘Performer’, ‘Success’, and ‘Museum’.  Everyone has a future and everyone hopes that their life can shine.  In order to accomplish that, however, they must borrow the strength of others since it’s not possible on your own.  They’re then physically taken advantage of by a museum that creates that success for you and at times you’ll find yourself acting something that you don’t want to do.  It’s a song about people that use innocent people that are only innocently searching for hope.”

Jaejoong stated, “A lot of time has passed.  The time we’ve spent apart might have created
misunderstandings, but as for us, a lot of that has passed.  I just hope for us to all meet again.  Yunho and Changmin appear in my dreams often.  Once, all three of us dreamt of them at once.”

He continued, “I still don’t keep in contact with Yunho and Changmin.  Please let us contact them.”
Jaejoong also revealed that he might have the opportunity to see Yunho.  “The lighting director for Yunho’s drama, ‘Poseidon‘, is also the lighting director for ‘Protect the Boss‘.  He once told me to come and visit during an after party.  I might be able to see him then.”

Jaejoong - Twitter Update

Junsu is always the first among the members to wake up. Among the tired members, the first to do his hair, make up and the first to do his shoot. He has been like this for 8 years. Junsu's sincerity is what brought us here and I've come to emulate Junsu as a colleague and friend. There are a lot of lifelong lessons to be learned from Junsu.

Yoochun who is always impartial. He is always in the middle watching over everyone. That's why the members do not have such thoughts that we're alone. During difficult times, he shares his free spirit with everyone and makes us feel secure.

Junsu and Yoochun who makes me think that..I must try harder..you both are greedy uhuhut!

I don't know if I can say this but..I miss Yunho and Changmin as well..They are our members no matter what other people say and they are the guys who know it best more than anyone else..though I'm not sure whether I'm being pointlessly silly but..I miss them after a long time.

Junsu to Jaejoong: Hyung, do you know?? That in this world, there's no other person like you...??

Jaejoong to Junsu: I think I can do without a girlfriend^^ Yesterday while we were shooting, after a long time - I felt that it is enough just having you guys^^ㅎ You've given me so much strength, Junsu-yah^^ We're in this together for a lifetime. Thank you, for being by my side

IU’s 3-Level Expression, Max Changmin Became Shy

IU’s 3-Level Expression, Max Changmin Became Shy
Singer IU shows off a ‘3-level expression’ after her ‘3-level octave’, impressing TVXQ’s Max Changmin.
In the April 10 broadcast of SBS ‘Heroes’, the cast took wedding pictures with TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin.

During the broadcast, MC Noh Hong Chul asked Max Changmin before the actual wedding photoshoot, “Which Heroes member do you most want to complete this photoshoot with?” and upon hearing IU’s name, Changmin gave a surprised expression, sending a secret signal to Yunho at the same time. Although Changmin expressed that “I was only shocked (upon hearing her name)”, one could see his inner feelings when he exchanged glances with IU.

The cast and TVXQ had to look into each other’s eyes as part of the process of choosing their partners (for the photoshoot). Max Changmin was composed when he looked into the eyes of Seo In Young, Kahi and Shin Bong Sun, but shyly lowered his head in front of IU. IU sent a ‘3-level expression’ to Changmin using her bright eyes, causing Changmin to be unable to look her in the eye. He finally looked down shyly, arousing laughter from everyone.

TVXQ "Royal Family" transformation for Esquire magazine

TVXQ have transformed into the "Royal Family" for their recent Esquire photoshoot. The duo U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin had a photoshoot for Esquire in March for the April issue in a hotel suite in Seoul. The concept was the "Royal Family."

The famous photographer Jo Sunhee was in charge of the shoot and photographed TVXQ in a very upscale room. Both of the members took photos that represented some sort of conflict and expressed a subtle emotions. It can even be said that the viewer was looking at a scene of a movie.

Yunho wore a dark grey suit and is looking at woman who seems upset. Changmin is wearing blue pants with a light grey jacket and seems to be in a deep conversation with the old man sitting at the desk before him. His role in this photoshoot seems to be similar to Changmin's role in his first drama "Paradise Ranch." Changmin played a conglomerate's son in the drama.

TVXQ are currently promoting their title track "Before U Go" from their repackaged album.

110317 Changmin and Lee Yeon Hee “Rock Couple” Gravure

The lovers in the drama “Paradise Ranch” Shim Changmin and Lee Yeon Hee have met once again.

They’ve transformed into a “rock couple”, rather than the sweet and cute image in the drama, they sprinkled their chic and fashionable appeal.

Lee Yeon Hee coordinated and combined clothes such as mini t-shirts showing off her navel with glittering pants, and mini dresses with a balloon skirt showing off her long slender legs, she has daringly challenged the exposure.

Changmin wore tough Riders jackets and classic tuxedo suits looking nicely dressed, and you can feel the fashion sense that he seems to be born with.

Changmin said, “During both the filming and then the airing of the drama, this was my first time taking part in a drama so all of these things were new to me. I am grateful to all the people who gave me this chance to experience something new. This drama has been airing for a duration of two months and now it’s ending. I feel relieved but on the other hand reluctant. Thank you for giving us your love. These two months were really fun and I was very happy.” Lee Yeon Hee said, “Today is the airing of the last episode of “Paradise Ranch”, and I am very grateful that all the donations are being used for a good cause. I want to thank all the fans who loved us until the very end.

On the other hand as “Paradise Ranch” reaches its final episode, the production staff, Lee Yeon Hee, Shim Changmin, SM Entertainment, and Sanhwa Networks all gathered and collected donations in order to help children in third world countries, and these donations were given to deliver the meaning of the “reality of love” and other events were also held.

Presents were also prepared for the fans by Changmin and Yeon Hee. Through the lottery, fans would get the lucky chance to win and be able to watch the final “Paradise Ranch” episode together and other presents. As Changmin looked towards the final airing, he spent an enjoyable time at this event.
