These days, the focal point of K-pop is vocal talent. The vocal talent of singers has come under scrutiny through auditions or survival programs and the movement is so fervent that one wonders if there ever really was a time when the meaning of a singer as ‘a person who sings’ was lost to the appearance of idol groups. Some shake nervously as they sing in front of audience evaluators on TV survival programs while one congressman declared that lip syncing should be banned to stop the constant activities of singers who can dance but not sing.
‘Gossip House’, OnStyle’s TV tabloid, released the results for the cheeky poll titled ‘The Male Star with the most Suspicious Face-off’.



IU showed digesting a sports look into a bubbly retro style.
A representative from IU’s agency told Herald Biz, “IU has been eager to compose her own songs and ever since her debut, she has been studying and practising” and “under the guidance of the composer and arranger in her agency, she composed many songs by herself. There are plans to release them as albums or digital singles in future.”
