Hallyu singers cancel all their Japan schedules in the month of May

Hallyu stars had cancelled all of their schedules in Japan for the month of April and May.

4minute, BEAST, CN Blue, ZE:A, Lee Jihoon, and more had planned for concerts and fan meeting in Japan for early May. However, due to the tragedy that struck Japan last month, all the schedules planned out for May had been extended and rescheduled.

Cube Entertainment, the management for BEAST and 4minute, stated on the 24th, “We planned to focus on promoting in Japan during the month of May. However, there was tremendous amount of damage due to the earthquake and since many areas are still under the recovery stage, we had decided to reschedule the dates for Japan promotions. We are still under debate about the times we should reestablish our dates for Japan promotions and we will need to look out for the situation for a longer period of time. “

JYJ “ Good Morning” scheduled to broadcast on the 19th

After experiencing some complications, JYJ recording of SBS “Good Morning” is finally scheduled to broadcast on the 19th.

JYJ recently filmed their first talk show with SBS “Good Morning”. Recently after they have attended KBS 2 TV’s “Drama Award”, fans cheers for JYJ finally being able to attend variety shows became louder and louder. Even though the broadcasting time have been pushed back repeatedly, making fans extremely anxious. After going through some complications it is finally scheduled to broadcast on the 19th.
On the 6th through news and telephone connection, related person states “JYJ show broadcast time has been set for the 19th, the chances of the broadcast being delayed is almost impossible.”

Lee Joon, “Bipolar disorder and insomnia due to busy schedule, but acting is enjoyable”

To Lee Joon who sleeps only 40 minutes in a 24-hour day, we started the conversation with “You look tired”. Lee Joon smiled and said, “I’m used to this lifestyle so I’m okay”. Among idol group members now who could be as busy as him? Preparing for a new album, ‘Jungle Fish 2′ filming and recording variety shows.

On Mnet’s ‘Kim Sooro’s Special Elite Class’, Lee Joon was seen falling asleep due to exhaustion. Viewers left harsh comments, “It feels like Lee Joon is not sincere, no wonder he didn’t get into Seoul National University”.

Lee Joon expressed that this comment is an unfair accusation. He had a valid reason for his action.

Lee Joon explained, “I didn’t have time to rest at all at the time. I know I had to study but I couldn’t do it. During the filming period I had a serious bipolar disorder, our schedule was also packed. People tend to critcised on the surface level. We practise late into the night every day, we put in a lot of effort in areas other people don’t see. We want to do well, but our bodies cannot cope. It’s very upsetting.”

Lee Joon felt that it was regrettable he failed to qualify the entrance to Seoul National University’s clothing division.

“Actually I stopped studying since 2nd year in high school. It’s not that I didn’t study well, but I had my own dreams. When other people were studying, I worked hard dancing without sleeping at night to achieve my goal. But when people saw that I failed to enter Seoul National University, they criticised me saying ‘His brain must be empty’, ‘Ranked last place’. I struggled a lot about that.”

According to Lee Joon, he is suffering from bipolar disorder because of his busy schedule, he also hasn’t been able to sleep. But he doesn’t care about the mental and physical stress, he works hard day and night to have a better image. But he is not satisfied with his effort.

“Acting is really fun. I should continue to work hard, but because we are preparing for our album and other activities, I couldn’t focus on practising my acting. It has been a long time since I’ve acted, I really want to concentrate only on acting, but my surroundings did not allow it. Whenever I had free time after filming, I had to record ‘Celebrity Goes to School’. When I had a half an hour break, I would go to the recording studio to record for the album. I want to do everything as perfectly as I can. But I could never be satisfied.”

Lee Joon is accepting and digesting his current schedule well. “I’ve had insomnia since before debut. After debut, it got better because I was so exhausted. But I’m losing sleep again lately. I spent the last two nights memorising my script, I could go on because I was in a good mood. In the future, I may not be able to appear on variety shows like now, I have to concentrate on filming drama. I also have to focus on producing a high quality album.”

Lee Joon’s passionate acting can be seen in KBS 2TV’s ‘Jungle Fish 2′ starting November 4. MBLAQ’s album is set to release next year. Let’s watch out for Lee Joon who never stops working.

Park Jung Min’s Upcoming Schedule

Angie Chai expresses, “Park Jungmin is currently preparing for his album recording work, and we’re still in the planning stage for his official drama production. We’ll be holding discussions with Park Jungmin until end of this year and is thinking of finding a specially tailored role for him. Naughty, humorous and also much well-loved kind of character that just fits his characteristics. For now, both the male and female lead fancies each other, and the male lead often bullies the female lead, yeah we’re thinking of that kind of style for him”.

Park Jungmin’s agency CNR Media Na Kwang-hoon representative expresses, “We’re in midst of preparing for a Korean drama for him slated to be released next half of the year. We’ve signed on with 5 writers, and is considering between the remake of Angie Chai’s work from 4 years ago — Corner of Love (originally starring Show Luo, Barbie Hsu), and MBC drama ‘Phoenix’ ‘s Lee Yoo-jin writer’s new work”.

Park Jungmin states, “I’m currently concentrating on Mandarin studying, acting classes, vocal classes, as well as Japanese language studying. Though I still have many insufficiency, I’ll work hard. Since Taiwan’s conservative restriction is less wide, if there’s a need I will rip it all off for bed scenes or exposure scenes. Because I’m alone now it feels kinda burdened, but I’ll work hard just like the Park Jungmin who has always been fun and cheerful”.

He is preparing for his Korean mini-album to be released in November, as well as a Korea fanmeeting.

After that, he will release a Mandarin album, and expects to hold fanmeeting tours in chinese-speaking countries beginning December onwards.

In addition, he is been casted as the male protagonist for an upcoming (Taiwan) drama slated for release in the upper half of 2011.
