Daesung’s appearance in Infinity Challenge brought happiness to fans!

Daesung’s appearance in Infinity Challenge brought happiness to fans!
Group Big Bang’s Daesung was shown on screen, catching the eyes of the viewers.

MBC “Infinity Challenge” that aired June 11th was a singing contest in West Sea Highway. Park-Myungsoo, a member of Infinity Challenge, was paired up with G-Dragon. Daesung showed on the screen in a place where all Big Bang members were discussing the music concept.
All members of Big Bang, including Daesung, asked Park Myung-soo who was unable to rap to “spontaneously hmm” and had a joyful time.
Daesung was involved in an accident on May 31st in which his car hit a motorcyclist and a taxi and questioned by the police. Since he was cut out completely from another show that he regularly featured in, this appearance of Daesung bought happiness of many fans.

Updates on GDragon's injured leg from YGE

It has been revealed that although Big Bang’s G-Dragon has a cast on his leg, it’s not a major injury.
On May 16th, a YG Entertainment representative said,
G-Dragon slightly sprained his leg during the concert. It is not a big injury. He is only wearing the half-cast during performances in case the injury might worsen while moving around. It is okay now. There is no need to worry.
G-Dragon’s injury was made known by a tweet from MBC’s “Infinity Challenge” producer Kim Tae Ho. He tweeted about Big Bang’s Japanese concert, saying, “GD had a light cast on his right foot.
While that tweet was made in response to a Big Bang fan, his response quickly informed netizens of G-Dragon’s injury.
Big Bang is currently on their “Love & Hope Tour” in Japan, hitting up Osaka, Nagoya, and Chiba.

Big Bang Postpones Tokyo and Yokohama Concerts due to Aftershocks

With Big Bang’s Japanese promotions set to begin in early May, many fans have expressed their concerns over the group’s safety in Japan because major aftershocks have been disrupting all over the country lately. However, much to their relief, YG Entertainment has confirmed local media today that Big Bang’s Japanese promotions will be shortened to two weeks, as opposed to the original two month plan, and the Tokyo and Yokohama concerts will be postponed indefinitely.

“All Big Bang members really want to do the concerts in Japan as originally planned to show their support and love for everyone hurt by the recent disaster. But there still are major aftershocks happening in Japan, and many fans from other countries have voiced their concerns over Big Bang’s security. We thought it was a major concern too so we decided to postpone the Tokyo and Yokohama concerts, which haven’t sold any tickets yet,” an official from YGE told Star News Money Today.

However, the concerts in Osaka, Chiba, and Nagoya will be held as planned since all tickets have been sold out already and the members have visited the concert halls in each city twice to check out the security there, according to the official. This means Big Bang will hold a total of eight concerts over two weeks in Japan: Osaka from May 10th to 11th, Chiba from May 13th to 15th, and Nagoya from the 17th to 19th. Big Bang released their special edition album on Apr. 8th and will promote the album until May 1st in Korea. Their second full Japanese album will be released on May 11th.

Big Bang fans attempt to halt the group's Japanese activities

One of the hottest male idol group, Big Bang is set to take off to Japan in June to begin their Japanese promotional activities but I think it will not be an easy flight for the boys!

Some VIPs are now starting to make their tour a little bit… difficult. On an online portal site, they started a signature campaign that will serve as a petition to postpone their Japanese tour. The petition started last March 30 and as of today, it is currently holding a total of 2400 signatures and has over 3000 participants.

According to a fan: “Like ordinary people, Big Bang can possibly be affected by the aftermath of Japan’s recently experienced tsunami and earthquakes. We are also worried about the threat of the nuclear radiation.”

Another fan also added, “We sympathize with the Japanese people on what they’ve gone through but with all due respect, we also want them to give us a little bit of their empathy with regards to Big Bang. We do not want to risk Big Bang’s health and life. In fact, artists from other agencies that are also scheduled to have promotions on Japan have already cancelled and if so, postponed their tours for health and safety reasons.”

Despite the fans declarations of backfire against YG‘s decision, Yang Hyun Suk firmly stated that the group will still go and continue their Japanese activities and everything will go on with what is scheduled.
