Jo Kwon - Ga In left, looking for WGM’s 2nd Adam Couple

The representative of MBC “We Got Married”, Adam Couple Jo Kwon and Ga In ended their make-believe marriage in WGM after one year and three months.

On the morning of January 6 Jo Kwon and Ga In put up an announcement on their Twitter and the fans were left feeling sad. They thanked their fans who had showed their love for “Adam Couple” all these times and explained. “We have created unforgettable memories for each other”.

But both the company and production team did not give any explanation to why Jo Kwon and Ga In left “WGM”, rousing curiosity. About Jo Kwon and Ga In leaving the show, they merely said, “There’s nothing to explain.”

Ga In’s agency stated, “We just knew this morning about the comment Ga In posted. We did not now that the production team decided to end it.” Jo Kwon’s agency stated, “It’s difficult to explain at the moment.”

Now the fans are concerned about who will be the successor of “Adam Couple” as the mascot of “WGM”

Jo Kwon of 2AM and Ga-In of Brown Eyed Girls have been in their fictional marriage for over a year now on the popular show "We Got Married". Unfortunately, the "Adam Couple" are recording their last episode together on the show. The two managed to become the longest-running couple on the reality show.

The couple wrote today to their fans, “Over the last year and three months, we made unforgettable memories, and treated each other with genuine and honest hearts. We think that showed through, and that’s why we earned so much love. We are so happy and thankful that we got to share our memories with all of you guys. ^^ Happy New Year.”

They concluded with, “Please look forward to Ga-In and Jo Kwon’s future plans~^^ Thank you for all the messages you sent through Adam’s me2. We will also end our me2DAY and save it as a memory..^^ Thank you.”

Jo Kwon and Ga-In have been through a lot on the variety show with many tears followed by laughter in their many missions, where they became one of the most beloved couples. How do you feel about this end to their reality show marriage?

Mnet releases official online voting results + 2NE1 and airport teasers!

With the Mnet Asian Music Awards inching closer and closer, Mnet is in their final stage of preparation. They have released many teasers and even a music video for the theme song to the show. Recently, Mnet released a 2NE1 CF promoting "MAMA.com". Additionally, Mnet also released an airport CF.

Finally, after weeks of voting, the polls on Mnet's official MAMA website have officially closed. Although the official results will be revealed on November 28, at the awards, here are some of the current online standings:

Adam Couple makes a bet that if Gain wins number 1 Jo Kwon will buy her an expensive bag

Gain who recently had her solo debut with "Irreversible" made a bet with virtual husband Jo Kwon that if She wins number 1 in a music program Jo Kwon must buy her an expensive bag.

On the 9th episode of MBC "We got Married" Jo Kwon and Gain were enjoying their days off. The couple went out and had a massage together. Gain said, "Since I have been practicing dancing so much my feet hurts".

Jo Kwon in which replied, "You have solo dance practices" and Gain said that she does and she get's to dance with a male partner for her tango dance choreography, in which Jo Kwon complains and told Gain he does not like it in which Gain got annoyed with.

Gain said," In the music video, there was a kissing scene with the actor, finally I get to kiss an actor" teasing Jo Kwon.

Gain also said that before, she made a promise that if 2am wins number 1 she will give Jo Kwon a back hug, so Now it was Jo Kwon's time to make a bet, Gain said, "If i win first place you will buy me an expensive bag" In which Jo Kwon promised to as well.

Adam Couple visits Jeju Island for their one year anniversary

The oldest couple of MBC's "We Got Married" recently visited to Jeju Island for their 1 year anniversary.

Jo Kwon and Ga-in celebrated their 1 year anniversary on September 20th. According to a representative, the two visited Jeju Island on September 28th and watched the sunrise while reflecting on their past year.

2AM's Seulong and the Brown Eyed Girls' Jea also joined them on their trip, acting as the stepping stones for their love.

The rest of the "We Got Married" couples all left on their own trips as well. CNBlue's Yonghwa and SNSD's Seohyun were unable to meet each other for nearly a month due to their Japanese schedules while f(x)'s Victoria and 2PM's Nichkhun visited Thailand in order to spend time with Nichkhun's family.

WGM Adam, YongSeo and Khuntora couples to come together for the 1st time for horror special

MBC variety program ‘We Got Married’ will be doing a horror special over the Chuseok holidays.

And the show, to air on 18th September, will have all 3 couples Adam couple (Jo Kwon and GaIn), YongSeo (Jung YongHwa and SeoHyun) and Khuntoria (Nich Khun and Victoria) will come together at one place for the first time.

The 3 couples will also participate in games like wrestling and couple relay thinking that they are all fighting for the title for the best couple on the special. But the real ‘best couple’ will be picked through another way.

The MC for the special will be C.N Blue Lee JungShin and the couples will have to go through a section where the couples will be rearranged into groups of 2 in a deserted school compound for a horror experience.

The truth behind ‘We Got Married’ casting decisions

News about the behind the scenes casting process that MBC’s We Got Married uses has recently been revealed to the public.

On the latest broadcast, 2PM’s Nichkhun told f(x)’s Victoria that he had told the production staff he wanted to be on We Got Married with her. Since then, viewers have been wondering whether personal preferences played a significant impact on the casting of couples on the show.

A representative stated,

“In Victoria’s case, Nichkhun’s wish played a big part. Also, in 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-in’s case, they both said each other’s name in the casting interview… Jo Kwon and Ga-in were each asked to list three people they wanted as their partners, and both named each other on this list.“

However, the “Yongseo couple” was a different case. SNSD’s Seohyun didn’t have anyone in particular that she wanted as her partner. Similarly, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa didn’t have anyone in particular that he wanted as a partner either. As a result, they were “stuck” together.

Well, in retrospect, aren’t we glad the production staff decided to match the two?
