There’s a new pair of K-Pop siblings in town, and they’re none other than Co-Ed’s Taewoon and Block B’s Zico! On July 16th, Zico updated his Twitter with a childhood photo of him and his older brother.

As the caption, Zico wrote, “Brothers have gotten older.”

Fans already know that Taewoon was initially a member of Blockbuster before he moved to Core Contents Media and debuted under Co-Ed.

Chanmi playfully commented, “Kyak >< So cute!!!!!!  Such chubby little babies* I can recognize Jiho, but who’s the person to the right of him?…” She later added, “Hahaha, Taewoon oppa grew up so well ^^.”

Fans commented back, “Absolutely adorable,” “Lovely!”, and “They’re both still just as cute.” Check out some of their other childhood photos below!

5dolls ''It's You'' receiving hot responses on mobile phone charts

The 5-member sub-unit, 5dolls are leading the music mobile charts.

The 5dolls sub-unit of the group Coed who revealed their mini album and title track "It's You" on the 17th, have risen 15 spots on Coloring (Tonghwa)'s charts ranking #7.

"It's You" was ranked at #9 on Melon's mobile phone music service ring-tone charts.

5dolls are the sub-unit of the group Coed School, who despite scandals, had their song not become quite as big. 5dolls began to work as a unit with the title tracks "Lip Stains" and "It's You" which received only good responses from the public, but failed to show a big response on charts.

Despite that, on mobile phone ring-tone charts they have received good responses and sales. Because of this, they have been receiving and attracting more attention, and the evidence is circumstantial in their rankings on sales charts.

SK Telecom, the largest ring-tone provider with the largest domestic users in Korea, has been promoting 5dolls' track, which has been encouraging.

An official for 5dolls, "Because of the rank on Coloring and ring-tone charts, the reactions in the overall market is slowly becoming bigger and coming out more," they said with high anticipations.

Co-Ed member Hot Blood Kangho has been swirled in controversy for the past month resulting in a halt on Co-Ed’s activities. Despite this setback, the members are still participating in the social networking medium and Co-Ed member Soomi recently posted a video of Kangho on her minihompy (Cyworld).

The video depicts Kangho singing The One’s ‘Dear Love’ while playing the piano, showing off a side of him that many haven’t seen before. I was surprised to notice that he’s actually a pretty good singer, check out the video below.

Co-Ed’s CEO regrets the use of the members’ long nicknames

While making an appearance on the November 24th broadcast of MBC’s “Radio Star,” participating members from T-ara and Co-Ed revealed that their company CEO had regretted about using such elaborate names for the Co-Ed members.

MC Kim Kuk Jin mused, “Your four-character names are much like TVXQ. One must have a certain level of pride in order to name yourselves after such a group; why did you?”

Co-Ed consists of unique names such as One Light Hyo Young, One Star Hyewon, Star Light Chanmi, Smile Soomi, Wise Taewoon, Rascal Kwang Haeng, Sky Earth Yoosung, Hot Blood Kangho, Balance Noori, and Solid Sungmin, all personally named by Kim Kwang Su, CEO of Core Contents Media.

T-ara’s Hyomin added, “When the member names for Co-Ed were first revealed, it didn’t receive a great response. The CEO must’ve seen the replies, as he asked me, ‘What do you think of the names?’ I replied that the reactions weren’t great and he began regretting it, saying, ‘I thought so.’”
Netizens commented, “Honestly, the member names are kind of much,” “Their comedic names made it easier to get used to them,” and “They have to go back to the naming center.”

Another segment of the show examined the reason behind T-ara’s need for a new member. When asked by MC Yoon Jong Shin why they decided to take on a new member, T-ara replied, “Ryu Hwa Young is the same age as maknae Jiyeon. Our CEO wanted to lower our average age so he added her.”
