SECRET to cancel all promotional activities until December 28th

Following their unfortunate car accident on the morning of December 11th, SECRET has announced that they will be canceling all promotional activities until the year-end ceremonies.

TS Entertainment revealed that the girls will be on hiatus until the 27th to give them time for ample rest until the ‘2012 KBS Gayo Festival‘ on the 28th.

Having made their “Talk That” comeback, things were looking up for the girls in terms of digital chart placement and the ecstatic response from fans. Their round of comebacks on the weekly music programs only amplified the excitement for their return.

Unfortunately, the excitement was short lived, as the girls suffered a car accident while driving down an icy road, which resulted in the car slipping off road and flipping over. Hyosung, Jieun, and Sunhwa were able to be discharged from the hospital for minor injuries while Zinger is still hospitalized due to some more severe injuries involving a crack on her rib cage and bruising on her lungs.

TS Entertainment stated, “Doctors said that Zinger’s rib cage crack will fully heal in about two to three weeks. Hyosung is wearing a cast for her injured knee but we suspect that it will fully heal in time for the KBS festival. For now, we are working around the girls’ first comeback schedule being the KBS Gayo Festival.” 

Industry representatives are also expressing their concerns for the girls, stating, “We’re all glad that the members weren’t gravely hurt. We’re sure that there isn’t anybody more disappointed with this accident than the girls themselves. They’ve made a successful transformation with ‘Talk That’, which was obviously the result of strenuous days of practice and work. We hope that all of them will recover fast and show us another great stage again.”

Fans also left supportive comments like, “We pray for the fast recovery of SECRET” and “We hope that Zinger is okay“.

TS Entertainment introduces Zelo, Bang Yong Guk’s sub-unit partner

TS Entertainment has just unveiled a picture of Zelo, Bang Yong Guk‘s partner in his new sub-unit.

Although he’s young (born in 1996), Zelo stands at 182 cm (~ 6 ft) tall and possesses a low voice. His specialty is rap, and he’s said to possess good looks that will definitely snatch hearts.

In the photo revealed today, Zelo covered half his face with a big mask, which allowed him to give the camera an enigmatic, if not intense look. There’s an aura of mystery surrounding Zelo, and expectations are rising high for his debut.

TS Entertainment stated, “Zelo is the youngest out of the members who are scheduled to debut, but he is a talented individual who possesses great potential, as he can rap in addition to performing acrobatics and dance. Zelo comes from ‘Zelos’, the god of rivalry in Greek mythology. He was named so because we saw how hard he tried amongst all the hyungs.”

Bang Yong Guk and Zelo teamed up to create a unit, and they’ll be releasing the music video for‘Never Give Up’ (featuring SECRET’s Hyosung) on November 25th via TS Entertainment’s homepage and various online sites.

On the episode of KBS2TV school variety ‘100 Points Out of 100’ broadcasted on the 23rd, from Lee Joon’s joke, Lee Kikwang, Jeon Hyosung, and Lee Joon were swept in the triangle love possibility.

While recording for the show, when the MCs asked “Have you been asked out by a fellow star,” Lee Joon replied back, “There was one female idol that came up to me and told me that they enjoyed a program that I was on. That was Jeon Hyosung.”

From Lee Joon’s sudden statement, the stars on the show asked Hyosung if she was actually dating Lee Joon and Hyosung had strongly declined the matter by waving her hands.

Then, Lee Kikwang, who had revealed that Jeon Hyosung was his ideal type on ‘100 Points Out of 100’ before, sudden got up from his chair and called our her name and Jeon Hyosung said back to Kikwang right after, “No it isn’t like that Kikwang,” raising questions from the stars on the show.

The stars who saw Hyosung trying to make up an excuse for herself joked around saying that the three of them were actually in a relationship. Lee Kikwang, who was very surprised said back, “We don’t even have each other’s numbers.”

This week’s episode of KBS’s “100 Points out of 100” drew out an interesting relationship between B2ST’s Kikwang, SECRET’s Hyosung, and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, who were speculated to be in a love triangle!

It all began when the cast started talking about getting hit on by fellow star friends. Lee Joon jokingly exclaimed, “A female idol came up to me and said that she had fun watching me on broadcast. She was none other than Jun Hyosung.”

The cast immediately turned to Hyosung and asked, “Are you really dating each other?”, to which Hyosung shook her hands no.

Kikwang, who had previously chosen Hyosung as his ideal woman, suddenly jumped up from his seat and shouted, “Jun Hyosung!” Hilariously, Hyosung replied back, “No, Kikwang! It’s not true!”

Cast members looked on at the amusing situation that developed before them and began asking, “Are they really in a love triangle?” Kikwang and Hyosung abruptly clarified, “No, we don’t even know each others’ numbers!”
