BEAST's first showcase in Japan was an incredible success. Universal Music, who is in charge of BEAST in Japan, rented a helicopter to promote BEAST. Not only so, but BEAST performed with an actual lion and tiger behind them during the showcase. A large music store in Shibuya was plastered with the members' photos, and the showcase was covered by at least 40 newspapers.
10,000 fans crowded into BEAST's first Japanese showcase and 4,800 of them even gathered together to spell out "B2ST" early in the morning so that the members in the helicopter could read it.
BEAST performed "Shock", "SOOM", "Beautiful", and continued with 6 other hit songs. After the showcase, the members spent two hours high-fiving 6000 fans that were picked by lottery.
During the showcase, BEAST confessed that they would like to top the Oricon charts. Their premium CD in Japan came up at 6th place. However, as they have yet to put out a Japanese single, the BEAST members have the full potential to have their wish granted. Cube has also revealed that BEAST will be branching out into all of Asia, including Malaysia, Thailand, China, and Singapore. Are you looking forward to seeing the boys in your country?
