As we reported earlier, on November 24th, singer IU fell hard while happily walking up to receive her SK Planet Best Song Award at the ‘2011 Melon Music Awards‘ show. On the November 30th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘, IU talked about the accident and confessed, “I was so embarrassed. I really wanted to disappear.”
Looking back, IU stated, “I thought to myself, ‘I’m like this even until now … I always do things like this.’ My body was throbbing when I woke up the next day. I did have a few bruises, but I didn’t really get hurt considering the fact that I fell really hard,” and relieved her fans.
Also, IU joked, “My new album came out this week, so that article about my new album should come up a lot, but because of my slip and fall article, I’m preventing my album article from gaining attention. I think the slip and fall moment will continuously come up over the next 5 to 6 years.”
