Singer Jay Park recently participated as the spokesperson in the "2011 Youth Smoking Prevention Campaign" held at Oles Square in Seoul on November 4th. The campaign was held by the Korean Tabacco Association which started on October 4th having the objective to discourage teenagers from smoking.
Jay Park will be traveling throughout South Korea to hold street campaigns and other various types of promotions in order to help spread the message of smoking prevention.
During the conference, Jay Park expressed, "I feel honored to be able to participate in a campaign that has such a huge influence in society. Rather than just a campaign figurehead, I want to go head and get involved actively to spread this message far."
The promoter stated, "We want to make sure that everyone is able to hear and understand our message. We believe that Jay Park's lively and active image will be perfect for the campaign."
Meanwhile, Jay Park kicked off his comeback with his new single "Girlfriend".
