Big Bang's TOP will be one of the many notable actors and actresses attending this year's Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony. He will be appearing at the opening event of the ceremony, following his achievement of a Rookie award.
The Blue Dragon Film Awards have been held annually for over three decades, with the upcoming show being the 32nd ceremony to date. The highly-coveted awards symbolize a high level of achievement, as the show has grown to become one of the two biggest award shows in South Korea's cinema industry.
TOP is scheduled to appear at the opening "hand-print event" of the ceremony along with film stars Sooae, Yoo Haejin, Jung Jaeyoung, Yoon Yeojung, and Lee Minjung.
Each of the actors that have been invited to the hand-print event have achieved a Rookie award for their excellent work in a film. TOP was rewarded with the award following his exceptional portrayal of the leading role in gritty war-film "71:Into The Fire."
