Min Hyorin has been confirmed to play the female lead in the film "The Five Million Dollar Man". Starfox Entertainment announced today that Min Hyorin will take the role of Miri in the film and will star alongside JYP Entertainment's CEO, Park Jinyoung.
"The Five Million Dollar Man" will be directed by Kim Ikro and tells the tale of an aspiring singer who gets involved in a money-related incident and is helped by Miri's character. Production is set to start next month, as the film is scheduled to open in local cinemas in March of next year.
Min Hyorin has been featured in a number of dramas and films since her debut in 2006. "Sunny," which was her last movie project, was a box-office hit and was hailed as the 11th most watched movie in Korean box-office history.
