6 member boy group BEAST will be releasing their second Japanese single.
On the 19th, Cube Entertainment announced that BEAST's second single-album (T/N: an album with different versions of the same song) 'Bad Girl' will be released on June 15th. Last March, they released 'Shock' and this will be the second Japanese single following that.
Last November, BEAST had kicked off their Japanese promotions with their first showcase. Their Japan debut single 'Shock' sold 29,000 copies in just a week and reached 2nd on Oricon Weekly charts.
On the 13th, they had an event commemorating the release of the 'Shock' single. They had visited Tokyo and had a 'High Touch Event' with some 8000 people in order to give back to fans who had bought their album. On the 15th, they went to Osaka and greeted about 6000 fans with high fives.
From the company's side, they have decided to take a cautious stance regarding future Japanese plans. They plan to focus on Korean activities during June having released their first full length album in Korea.
A representative stated "For now, we won't be actively promoting in Japan but this July when they will be having their Asia Tour, they will be able to meet Japanese fans through fanmeetings."
Meanwhile, BEAST released their first full length album on the 17th and will have their first stage on MNet's 'M -Countdown" on the 19th. BEAST is currently having a contest for the name of the dance in their comeback and title song 'Fiction.'
