A survey was conducted at a Korean site, SevenEdu, for "Stars Most Likely To Receive Valentine's Day Chocolates." Held from January 31st to February 12th, the poll ended with a total of 546 votes. JYJ's Jaejoong managed to top the list with 39.6% of the votes while Big Bang's G-Dragon took second with 34%.
According to a representative from SevenEdu, "JYJ's Jaejoong is really attractive on stage for his singing and performance skills. Moreover, he also has this natural charm of pretty boy image with his white skin and round black eyes."
He also added, "Jaejoong is a Hallyu star who has been active in various activities in Korea-Japan and all across Asia. He's also known to win the many popularity polls in a lot of countries, so him winning this poll is just another reflection of how he’s been gaining a lot of love from fans."
Jaejoong's win comes as no surprise. In November, the singer was listed as the fourth most handsome male celebrity in Asia. He also recently beat out Justin Bieber, becoming the most popular star on Twitter in China.
The popularity of Jaejoong and G-Dragon are expected to increase this year with their new activities. It has been reported that Jaejoong will appear in a new drama, "The Korean Peninsula," which will begin broadcasting in October. With Big Bang's comeback just ten days away, G-Dragon and his members just finished filming in Americafor their new music video.
