About this, Brown Eyed Girl’s company Neganetwork has explained that “The ‘bxxxx (xbal)’ part, which became a problem is a mishearding of ‘please (jebal)’ in the lyric” through a phone call with a reporter at 28th.
The company has emphasized that “There’s no reason to put a cussing in the song since
it’s a ballad. It’s just a happening that occurred when G.O. pronounced ‘bal’ more strongly
because of a rhythm flow in a song.”
In reality, as confirmed in “Even if I abandon it, it still rises up/Even if I erase it,
I still remember and think of it/Burn it ‘please (jebal)’ Spill and burn it cruely”,
which is G.O.’s part, no cussing can be found.
