FT Island’s Love Love Love dominates the weekly charts!

FT Island, who made their comeback after a year’s absence, has conquered the charts.

FT Island, who recently came back with their rock ballad title song “Love Love Love” after a successful Japanese promotion, has been ranked 1st on the weekly chart on the music website, Monkey3.

FT Island has hit the top with “Love Love Love”, over Secret who has been in the 1st place for 2 weeks, on Monkey3 Weekly chart for the 1st week of September (30 Aug~5 Sep).

Especially, the victory of ballad singers such as Wheesung, Park Hyo Sin & KCM has started, with FT Island on the lead. Wheesung’s “I Even Thought of Marriage” jumped from 20th to 3rd last week. Park Hyo Sin’s “I Love You”, the OST for the drama “Athena”, has went down a little to the 4th place, but constant popularity is expected. Also, KCM’s new single, “3 Years Past”, took the 9th place as soon as it was released.

Also, SISTAR’s “Shady Girl” was 2nd, while Secret’s “Madonna” went down to the 5th place after hitting the top for 2 weeks.

On the 6th place was Lyn and Bong-Gu’s duet song, “Two as One”, a sweet love theme song for Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min Ah on SBS’s drama, “My Girlfriend is A Nine-Tailed Fox”.

Rainbow’s “A” went from 4th to 7th last week and Narsha’s “Mamma Mia” was on the 8th place after going down 5 places from last week. Homme’s “Still Eating Well” went down 3 places as well and ended up being 10th.

Monkey3’s Contents Team leader, Lee Jung Gyu, explained, “it was a week with many ballad songs becoming popular. Ballad is showing a speedy upturn, due to the seasonal factor of autumn.”

Meanwhile, many songs have newly entered the rankings such as Kara’s “2Me” being 15th, G.NA’s “Kiss Me” rising fast to the top 10’s, Goofy’s “Bad Guy” being 27th, Davichi’s “Drawing You” on the 36th place, etc.
