JYJ's South American Fan Coalition Of 13 Countries Holds a FlashMob 'Calling For A Concert'

The South American JYJ Fan Coalition recently created a flashmob video, calling for concerts to be held within the continent.

Fans from 13 South American countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Columbia came together to created a video and post it on Youtube, asking for JYJ to hold a concert in their countries. The video showed fans holding placards and messages of support, asking JYJ to hold concerts in their countries. The fans were heard saying, ‘We became one because of JYJ’ and ‘JYJ, please come to our country’.

JYJ will kick off their Europe tour in Barcelona, Spain on the 29th at the POBLE ESPANYOL concert arena. They were met with an explosive response as over 80% of their tickets were sold three days since tickets went on sale. Fans from other countries who were unable to secure tickets for the performance have come forth, calling for concerts to be held in their respective countries.

Meanwhile, JYJ have been invited to the Spain Manga Festival that attracts 60,000 people every year. They plan to showcase their charm and talent to the fans and reporters of Western Europe.

Because of work, I thought I wouldn't be able to go but by chance, I unexpectedly was able to go yesterday.

Things like that can happen!? I was so shocked that my expression was of a pigeon who was shot by a peashooter.

Because it was too sudden, I could only go alone.

When I arrived at Katsuta Station, I wanted to cry out of excitement but I was all by myself.

When I was trying the suppress my emotions,

a lot of kind people came to me and we shared the same excitements.

There are a lot of nice people. Thank you very much.

To be able to see the 3 of them singing and dancing was like a dream to me, I was so happy.

When I was watching them, my hands unconsciously became hands of a cutesy young girl.

This morning, I unbelievably woke up at 3:30am.

JYJ Gathered 80,000 Audiences for Their 2-Day Japanese Concert

On the 15th and 16th, Korean group JYJ held their Japanese concert that experienced a flood of 80,000 fans and ended in great success.

According to their agency on the 17th, JYJ's independent concert, titled "JYJ UNFORGETABLE LIVE CONCERT IN JAPAN 2011", was held once each day on the 15th and 16th at Hitachi Kaihin Park in Ibaraki, Japan.

When the ticket sale was opened in September, it already made a record for being sold out simultaneously. On the dates of the concert,it gathered a great number of not only sponsors but also standing guests, ending in great success.

Their agency also said, "On the day of the concert, there is a flood of JYJ fans riding trains to the concert, causing the trains in the neighboring area to skip and passed through some stops. There is also a rush of cars coming from various places across the country, paralyzing the traffic of the whole area since early morning.

Since their world tour in June, it has been 5 months since JYJ stood on the Japanese stage. During this concert, they introduced to fans a compilation of songs from their world tour album "The beginning" as well as songs from their first Korean album "In Heaven."

Moreover, they also introduced OSTs of the members, such as "Found You" from "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," "I Will Protect You" from "Protect the Boss" and "You are so beautiful" from "Scent of a Woman."

JYJ said at the concert, "To be honest, we had our worries when we decided were to hold a concert at an area that was hit with an earthquake, but we didn't want to miss an opportunity to meet Japanese fans. We were able to received a lot of courage feeling the love you have for us at this place today."

On the other hand, after concluding their Japanese concert, JYJ will be getting ready for their European Tour. Following their independent concert in Barcelona, Spain on the 29th, they will be having another one in Berlin, Germany. The tickets are already sold out.

"There's a posibility that DBSK will comeback again as five next year..." says the Japanese media

An article stating that there is a possibility that TVXQ will come back as five has surfaced in Japan. Though it doesn’t base itself on accurate facts, the article is garnering much attention from Japanese fans as TVXQ are extremely popular in the country.
The Japanese weekly magazine ‘Shukan Post’ recently incorporated an article of the celebrity gossip magazine ‘Women 7′ to report that, “There are movements that lead to a comeback by TVXQ as five next year in Korea.”
The magazine stated that Kim Jaejoong’s tweet on the 26th of July that said, ” I don’t know if I can say this or not.. but I miss Yunho and Changmin too..” adds weight to the possibility that the five will get back together again.
The article gave the analysis that though the members have split into a duo and a trio since halting all activities as five last April, there has been and always will be a possibility that they can get back together because the friendship amongst the members still exists.
They then continued their stance that the five could come back as five, using the words of a journalist residing in Korea as evidence. This journalist stated,“Actually, there have been rumors emerging that TVXQ will make a comeback as five next year in Korea. I believe that the K-POP boom that TVXQ helped grow will now help TVXQ get back together again as five.”
The article gained much interest from Japanese fans as soon as it was released and was ranked the most read article on the 17th on Shukan Post’s website.
However, it unfortunately seems that there isn’t much of a possibility that TVXQ will get back together again soon.
Emphasizing that this wasn’t an official statement, TVXQ’s agency SM Town stated, “We are left speechless and unable to give an answer to this article as it merely deals with the rumor that TVXQ will get back together again with no true facts to use as evidence. Also, as we are currently locked in a lawsuit, we are not in the position to say anything about TVXQ’s reunification,” and “We were surprised to see that such rumors of reunification have come out in Japan when there hasn’t been a single rumor like it in Korea.“

110316 JYJ’s Heartbeating White Day Date With Over 7,000 Fans

All three members are unique; they were special!

The group JYJ (Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun) were different. On the 12th, JYJ held a fanmeeting at Jamsil stadium where more than 7,000 fans gathered and spent three hours together. This fan meeting, which was created for the sake of exchanging laughter and emotions with the fans, JYJ also spent more than 100 million won from their own expenses.

JYJ began their fan meeting with words of the unfortunate earthquake that has occurred in north eastern Japan, and ended by singing with their encore with a song they released recently. As the fan meeting was coming to an end, Kim Junsu also showed his tears to the fans cheers.

We are one!

Their looks are different and so are their voices. But when these three sing together they are able to create heavenly harmonies. However, it wasn’t just the three of them. Matching the words of JYJ with hand motions, all the fans there (exceeding 7,000) became one.

During the fan meeting, JYJ also called their manager on stage and spent a harmonious time together. From their relentless schedule to their every meal, the manger bears these responsibilities of the celebrity, so being able to see this unreserved relationship caused the fans to clap ceaselessly.

While Park Yoochun was singing, he raised two fingers to his head as if to ask for their applause, immediately all the fans began to cheer. JYJ fans kick off their subway advertisement campaign

JYJ’s latest fan-created ads are firing up the internet.

On March 7th, a netizen uploaded 4 pictures of the ads that were placed in Seoul’s Sinchon and Hongdae University stations.

The ads focused on the figures of Junsu, Yoochun, and Jaejoong, and it proudly declared, ”JYJ, we support your youth“. The ad in Hongdae University station specifically says, “Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu, ride on the public TV express train“.

The ads were created by JYJ’s fanclub, and beginning on March 7th, they can be found in the districts of Sunreung, Jamshil, Shinchon, Hongdae, Gundae, Kangbyun, Apgujung, Chungmuro, and 3rd Jongno. In addition, the fanclub has arranged to place 21 different screen door advertisements at subway stations.

Approximately $160,000 USD were raised for these ads, and the fanclub invested some of that into their initial ad campaign for the boys back in late January, when they put up posters on 120 buses all over Korea. The message from that month-long campaign also read, "We support your youth".

JYJ’s 80K Foreign Fans Submit Petition to the Court, “Stop SM’s Interferences”

86,418 foreign fans of JYJ (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) submitted a petition that addresses JYJ’s restricted entertainment activities among other issues to the Seoul Central District Court.

On February 28, JYJ’s foreign fans communicated through a press release that “between February 2nd and February 25, foreign fans voluntarily translated the petition into 10 different languages and set up a website for the signing of the petition in order to urge the Seoul Central District Court to issue a timely ruling confirming JYJ’s rights and guaranteeing their entertainment activities.”

JYJ’s foreign fans clarified their purpose in launching the petition as the following: “We, the international consumers of Korean Wave and fans of entertainers Kim Jaejoong, Park Yuchun, and Kim Junsu, of groups Dong Bang Shin Ki and JYJ (hereafter, collectively “JYJ”), petition for the public recognition and the cessation of the longstanding and repeated infringement by S.M. Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “S.M. Entertainment”), KMP Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “KMP Holdings”), the Korean Entertainment Producers Association (hereafter, “KEPA”), and the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Arts Industry (hereafter, “KFPCAI”) upon JYJ’s legal rights affirmed by courts of the Republic of Korea and their human rights which she has committed to uphold by entering into international treaties.”

In addition, foreign fans explained, “SM Entertainment and its affiliated organizations have flagrantly violated orders by the courts of the Republic of Korea regarding JYJ’s right to engage in entertainment activity freely and without interferences.”

Furthermore, foreign fans noted the importance of intellectual property rights, labour rights and the right to wage protection through disclosure in this case. They expressed their position that “[these rights] apply to JYJ as citizens of the Republic of Korea who have had their legal right to freely pursue entertainment activities without interference infringed,” and that “[JYJ’s] right to just and favourable conditions of work with sufficient rest and right to wage protection through adequate disclosure must be guaranteed.”

They continued, “We ask that the Republic of Korea show her commitment to these basic rights and publicly condemn and correct the current situation at once.”

On February 21, the Seoul Central District Court Civil Cases Division 51 (Judge Kim Daewoong) acknowledged that SM was illegally interfering in JYJ’s activities and granted an order for indirect compulsory performance [in favour of JYJ].

Tears of Heaven Fanaccount and Review

I have never written a fanaccount in my life. And because I’m much more used to writing critiques and reviews, what follows might not be what you expected. However, since I promised a lot of people that if I get a ticket to a showing of Tears of Heaven where Junsu is the main lead I would write a fanaccount, here it is…


Necessary Background Information
Few international fans are aware of the source material that inspired this production, Jo Sungmo’s Ashinayo music video (click here to view) and its rather considerable significance to the Korean social psyche. In 2000, Jo Sungmo released his music video, a 10-minute blockbuster set during the Vietnam War that tells of a tragic love story between a Korean soldier and a Vietnamese woman. The video and the music made quite the impact. Not only did it keep Jo Sungmo on the top of the charts for weeks, it launched the career of Shin Mina.

The content of the video re-opened questions surrounding the role of Korea and Korean soldiers in the Vietnam War. As the music video suggested, a lot more Korean soldiers than had been thought had loved Vietnamese women or fathered children by them. The majority of these Korean fathers subsequently died—the Korean government sent soldiers to Vietnam after the US promised that it would give the Korean government several thousands of dollars (or was it hundreds of thousands? In any case it was a lot of money) for every Korean soldier that died in Vietnam, which the Korean government at the time eagerly grabbed as free development aid—but the few who had survived started telling their stories. NGOs and even the Korean government at some point, paid for these Korean-Vietnamese children to be reunited with their fathers in
Korea.


Koreans of previous generations already knew that the Korean government sent Korean soldiers to Vietnam in order to obtain free development aid that rises with the Korean body count; that this gave American and Korean generals every incentive to send Korean soldiers to the battles that only a crazy person would think he could survive; that the American command, trusting the reputation that Koreans are naturally cruel (a reputation popularised by the Japanese colonial government when Korea was a Japanese colony), sent Koreans on all sorts of black ops; that Koreans inflicted horrible torture on the Vietcong and other Vietnamese, such as skinning alive. This is all common knowledge, but until Jo Sungmo’s video, most Koreans were too busy avoiding being impoverished to pay much attention. But in 2000, a new generation was rediscovering this history. It caused quite a stir.

Koreans, who had become used to seeing themselves as the righteous and innocent victims throughout most of their history, had to confront the possibility that they were just as skilled at being the perpetrators; that what Koreans had suffered at the hands of their neighbours and others, they were capable of inflicting too. However, ironically, most of the resulting criticism and anger was directed at the Americans and added to the already-existing anti-American sentiment of that time. The attitude of the American command, using Korean soldiers in black ops and to do the dirty work in Vietnam, reminded Koreans of the policy of the Japanese colonial government: the Japanese, unable to subdue the resistance and independence spirit of Koreans, used Koreans who had been broken as slave labourers in Japan as prison guards, spies and torturers against their fellow Koreans.

Thus, all these themes—family mysteries, being sent to unsurvivable battles, traditional victim turned perpetrator, the colonialist mentality—appear in varying degrees throughout Tears of Heaven. (Interestingly, it is the English lyrics of the songs and not the Korean that emphasise the North-South split that apply to both Korea and Vietnam at the time of the Vietnam War.) In this sense, this is a very Korean production. It has no resemblance to Miss Saigon except in setting.
Pre-Show Situation

Bloody hell! I have never seen so many women in one place in my life. The oestrogen was palpable. I truly felt sorry for the few boyfriends and male relatives who were dragged to this; such an overwhelming female presence has got to have been intimidating.

Just starting from the metro stop—Dongguk University—where you catch the shuttle bus to the National Theatre, there was a long line of women. The shuttle buses that struggled uphill to the Theatre were jam-packed…with women. The lobby of the venue as well as the square outside was brimming with—you guessed it—women: Korean women, Japanese women, of all ages, buying Tears of Heaven trinkets and programmes and concept CDs or taking an unbelievable number of photographs next to several life-sized Junsus. The entire affair felt like a field trip with the Junsu Fan Club. Only the Korean fans fiddling with their binoculars reminded me that I am indeed at a theatre.

I found my seat. On the ground floor. A VIP seating, but near the back. The girls beside me had binoculars but they really weren’t necessary. We were near enough the stage to be able to see the actors’ faces.


Review of Tears of Heaven: The Good
I am actually not a fan of love stories or anything considered romantic; I absolutely detest the romantic comedy genre, unless it comes from Shakespeare or Molière. And Tears of Heaven did indeed have more than a few cringe-worthy lines that pander to the proudly sentimental, maudlin, soap-opera penchant in Koreans but make me reach for a vomit bucket. However, the production values of Tears of Heaven were so good that I was able to forget quite comfortably that I was watching a love story. I have seen a couple of London West End productions in my lifetime and I felt that Tears of Heaven would not have been out of place at the West End. The set-designs, the props and costumes were all convincing and impressive. There are several scenes that use interpretative dance, shadows or both to quite good effect and successfully portray the theme of hidden emotions, which ties in well with Tianna’s theme “Shadows on My Heart”.
The music was absolutely stunning. And it helped that it was being sung by equally stunning singers. Junsu, Yoon Gongju, Brad Little and the actress who played Quyen all sang their numbers wonderfully. In fact, there wasn’t single weak voice in either the main or supporting cast. The production’s investment in hiring Frank Wildhorn and a Broadway music team clearly paid off.

Except for a couple of places in Brad Little’s acting, where I thought I saw the Phantom materialise from in front of a smoke machine, the acting from the main cast was solid. Special mention must be made here to Junsu’s co-star, Yoon Gongju. Not only did she have difficult parts to sing, which she executed with poise and skill, but her acting too deserves every compliment that exists. It was that good. She even had this cynical b*tch on the verge of tears in several scenes. Junsu made me forget that he existed. This might not sound like a compliment but it is. It means that Junsu successfully disappeared into his role and made me forget that I was watching an idol’s career vehicle. By half an hour into the First Act, I was simply watching a good musical production and Junsu was just another musical actor. Junsu was especially good at capturing the enthusiastically innocent and youthful side of Joon. He became comfortable enough with the role that he ad-libbed many times, adding his own interpretative touches.
The old lady in San Francisco carrying the hippy Peace sign and the gay cross-dresser were love itself.


Review of Tears of Heaven: The Not-so-Good
As stellar as Junsu’s acting was, I couldn’t help but feel in a couple of scenes that his interpretation of Joon didn’t quite benefit the plot. As I said before, Junsu captures the youthful enthusiasm and innocence of Joon, a simple Korean soldier who dreams of becoming a writer when he returns home after his tour in Vietnam. I hear that Jeong Dongseok, one of the other actors in the role of Joon, chooses to emphasise rather the more artistically passionate and fiery side of the aspiring writer. I wonder what it would have been like if Junsu had decided to bring forth more of this aspect to his interpretation of Joon. Perhaps the falling-in-love and actual love scenes between Joon and Linh, which felt rushed and slightly unrealistic for Joon’s character as expressed by Junsu, would have been more believable.
Several of the backdrops were clearly CGI-rendered and shoddily completed.
Tianna’s costume in the last scene is unfortunate.
As I said before, some of the lines should have been left in the latest episode of Days of Our Lives.


Review of Tears of Heaven: The Downright Disappointing
Before attending the show, I’d read several accounts by Korean fans on the Internet and each obsessed about the kiss scene and bed scene in the musical. Several fangirls testified that the heat in those scenes brought them to near fainting. And given that this musical is after all a love story, I had high expectations for the kiss and love scene.

The kiss scene wasn’t terrible, but it’s true that I’ve seen steamier kissing on the streets of Paris. They don’t call it French kissing for nothing. Unfortunately, Junsu’s kiss forgot to bring back that parfum from his last trip to Paris. At the kiss scene, the girls beside me whipped out their binoculars for the first time, but left me wondering whatever was worth the peep.

When I read the hype around the bed scene, I immediately recalled the time I watched Russian opera Lady Macbeth of Minsk on its opening night at the Opera of Geneva. The bed scene from this production involved the female lead on her back in bed belting a high F whilst her male co-star was doing “it” showing his naked behind for the entire audience to see. Therefore, I was wondering if I would also be seeing Junsu’s famous posterior in such naked detail for Tears of Heaven too. Alas, it was not to be. The “bed scene” consisted of Junsu and the female lead playing Ring Around the Rosies round Linh’s bed. I’m still bitter about it.


Post-Show Situation and Wrap-up
After the show, I needed to go to the loo, but there were so many women in line that the Theatre staff allowed many of us to use the men’s toilet. I felt truly sorry for the guys who stepped in for a leak to find that they’d have to hold it in a little longer. Crossing the lobby, I saw a huge crowd gathering, already taking pictures even when no one was there where their cameras were directed. I only found out later that several celebrities, including Junsu’s good friend Kim Hyunjoong, were due to arrive for the evening show.
I’ve had time since to gather my final thoughts on Tears of Heaven. It was well worth the ticket price and I can see it go on to immense success in the rest of Asia. However, I believe it’s success in North America and Europe will be limited. First of all, comparisons to Miss Saigon will be unavoidable, despite the fact that the productions share more differences than similarities. Secondly, I doubt that people in White-majority America and Europe are ready for a production where the protagonist is a Korean/non-White. For this reason alone, I would advise the producers of Tears of Heaven to cast Kim Junsu in the Broadway run as well. At the very least, his Korean and Japanese fans will sell out every show and fly over to watch it (again), thereby increasing the musical’s chances of a good reception.

Tohoshinki's First Comeback Single Surpasses Previous Works For 1st Week Sales - 1st Place With 230,000 Copies Sold !

■Monopolizing both 1st and 2nd place for top selling foreign artists in singles weekly sales history

Tohoshinki, the Korean popular group, has restarted their activities as a duo with Yunho (24) and Changmin (22). Their first comeback single 「Why？（Keep Your Head Down）」 (released 26 January 2011) has sold more than 231,000 copies in its first week of release and made its entry into the first place of the 7 February singles weekly charts.

Before their hiatus last January, the 5-member Tohoshinki released their 29th single 「BREAK OUT！」 which sold more than 256,000 in its first week, and this single (Why?) ranks in second place after that for best first week sales in the entire history of foreign artists.
This single follows 10 months after their previous single 「時ヲ止メテ」 (195,000 sold in the first week), which was released in March after the release of their best album 『BEST SELECTION 2010』. In April last year, it was announced that group activities with all 5 members would be suspended and in January this year they have restarted their activities again as a duo. Despite this, their popularity can be felt as their first week sales exceeded that of the previous single by more than 36,000 copies. 

Since Oricon first began its singles ranking chart in January 1968, the first foreign artist's single to break through the 200,000 copies mark was Tohoshinki's previous single 「BREAK OUT！」 and following that, their current new single. Once again, they successfully broke their own record as foreign artists to achieve first place in the 「Singles sales ranking」 and with the past 3 singles consecutively achieving first place, this is their 9th single to top the charts.

On the release date of this single on the 26th last month, Tohoshinki, together with BoA, SNSD and popular artists from their Korean management company SM Entertainment, performed at the live concert 『SMTOWN LIVE』 (Tokyo, National Yoyogi Stadium), marking their first comeback stage in Japan in 1 year and 1 month. Their song 「Why？～」 is also the OST song for Yukie Nakama's drama 『Beautiful Neighbour』 (Kansai TV, FujiTV) which is currently airing and they sang a total of 5 songs including this song during the live concert.

Will BEAST be the target of "Ten-Minute" at the 2011 Dream Concert?

At the 2008 Dream Concert, Cassiopeia, ELF, and Triple-S all turned off their glowsticks and stayed silent during Girls' Generation's stage. The incident was covered up by editing on broadcast, but many fans who were there disproved the broadcast with pictures and fancams.

The silent treatment is dubbed "Ten-Minute," because the audience stays silent for the ten minutes that the artist is on stage. It received a lot of criticism not only from Sones but also from other members of Cassiopeia, ELF, and Triple-S.

However, it may be happening again at Dream Concert 2011, and its target will be BEAST this year. Some B2uties have set themselves apart from many fanbases because of how they are acting toward members of other idol groups. There have been many incidents where some B2uties have gone into other idols' fan cafes and started to bash the idols and compare them to BEAST, saying things such as "BEAST sings better than SHINee," "BEAST is better looking than TVXQ," "BEAST dances better than 2PM," and have even gone to say "BEAST is just better than MBLAQ."

There have been cases on the color dispute regarding Junhyung's glowstick. The glowstick in question creates a pinkish purple color when the red and the blue parts are put together. Since blue is Super Junior's color, red is TVXQ's color, and pink is Girls' Generations', their respective fanclubs have spoken up in protest. However, their protests have been either ignored or laughed at by some B2uties, making fans furious.

However, some fans, B2uty and others alike, are suspicious that it may be antis instead of actually B2uties that are causing such a havoc. As a result, many fans are against the "Ten-Minute" against BEAST, and B2uties have pleaded with other fans to not punish the BEAST members for something that some bad-mannered fans have done.

Cassies deliver gifts for TVXQ's comeback

After over 2 years of hiatus, TVXQ's Yunho and Changmin had their comeback performances on last week's music shows. Their second appearance was on MBC's Music Core.

Seven TVXQ fansites collaborated to send loads of food, drinks, and gifts to the two members as well as the TVXQ and Music Core staff. The fans also sent a basket of red roses and a beautiful 5-starred cake with mini figurines of Yunho and Changmin standing on top of it. Check out the pictures below!

Xiah Junsu’s ambiguous tweets to TVXQ’s Yunho concerns fans

JYJ Xiah Junsu’s recent series of ambiguous tweets have alarmed fans, as they may have been directed at TVXQ’s leader Yunho.

On December 6th, Xiah Junsu wrote on his Twitter, “Until now, I kept believing that it wasn’t true, I believed that (it) was the enemy of all five of us, but I guess it wasn’t really the enemy of all. To see that (they) expressed their gratitude to something I thought was both our enemies.. I guess a lot of things happened in the time we weren’t together. This is so tiring.”

He continued, “I keep wanting to think, hear, and see only good things, but it’s very hard to do that today. Even though we’ve been apart, you know that wasn’t right, hyung. We thought the same. Why are you being like this.”

In TVXQ’s ‘Thanks to’ section of their new album, Yunho expressed his gratitude towards SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man. Yunho also wrote, “Lastly~ You’ve been waiting a long time, right? Our Cassiopeia! I’m really really thankful that you waited for us to spring back. I heard this somewhere, but I heard it’s best to rest a bit before climbing a wider and taller mountain! Everyone~ Should we all hold each others’ hands tightly and climb up together? I’m so thankful, and thankful once more~ Lastly Changmin-ah~ You’d know even if I don’t say it, right? I love you! I get so much strength when you’re next to me. Should we show them how much we’ve grown? Okay! TVXQ’s second coming starts now!”

Additionally, Jaejoong was noted to have also changed his Twitter profile description to, “You keep your head up and keep an open mind”, and he tweeted, “I’m just hoping to be. I close my eyes, ears.” Many are speculating that these words were in reference to TVXQ’s comeback title track, “Keep Your Head Down.”

Korean Cassiopeia splits into HoMin supporters and JYJ supporters

Since the lawsuit between SM Entertainment and JYJ began, TVXQ's fanclub Cassiopeia have supported both "sub-units" despite some fan organizations boycotting SME products. However, with Yunho and Changmin's return under the name TVXQ, a famous TVXQ Daum cafe that has existed since TVXQ's debuted 7 years named 20sum have broken their neutrality and decided to support only JYJ.

They posted a long letter explaining why they made this painful decision. Other major fan organizations, namely DNBN, Yuerubi, and TVXQ DC Gallery, are now deciding whether they will join 20sum in supporting only JYJ or continuing to support both units of TVXQ.

The letter started by apologizing to the members of Twenties Cassiopeia for TVXQ (hereafter referred as TCT) who have been with them for the past 7 years. Since Yunho and Changmin made a comeback under the name of TVXQ, TCT lost the cafe's identity, which is a fancafe for a 5-membered TVXQ. They state that an "authentic" TVXQ is made of Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, Yunho and Changmin and that Yunho and Changmin alone are not an "authentic" TVXQ.

They went on to claim that Yunho and Changmin fans distorted information about the contract DBSK had with SM and also took DNBN's ex-domain to post an article blaming JYJ for coming out from SM. They also claim that some Yunho and Changmin fans say that JYJ accused Yunho and Changmin of being betrayers. To this, they refuted that "everyone knew Yunho and Changmin pratically crticized JYJ through the official documents and announcements to express their positions" and that "people close to Yunho and Changmin have criticized JYJ persistently."

They say that TVXQ's fandom has already split internally, but formally they appear unified. The lyrics controversy in regards to "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" is also brought up.
