Actor Lee Ki Woo recalls the first time he met Kim Tae Hee

Actor Lee Ki Woo, who plays the role of Ryu Ki Woo on MBC‘s ‘Standby‘, recounted the time he first met actress Hallyu Kim Tae Hee. On the June 19th episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, the actor stated, “There were a lot of ulzzangs around me when I was in high school. At that time, the popular ulzzangs in my neighborhood were Jun Ji Hyun, Seo Ji Young, Lee Min Jung, Lee Jin, and Song Hye Gyo.” “I was active as a member of a ski team in university. There was a time when we all gathered with the other college ski teams at a ski resort, and there was this one beautiful girl who stood out among the crowd. That was Kim Tae Hee,” he said. Kim Tae Hee is known to have been a member of Seoul National University’s ski team. Lee Ki Woo continued, “Wherever Kim Tae Hee would go, all of the male students would follow her. She was the dream girl of all the male students.” This prompted MC Shin Dong Yup to ask the actor, “If you had to choose between SISTAR‘s Bora and Kim Tae Hee, who would it be?” Lee Ki Woo revealed earlier that he was a huge fan of Bora, who made a surprise appearance on the program. Without hesitation, the actor selected Bora, causing the others to laugh out loud.

Sunye sheds tears talking about her beloved fans

On the November 29th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Wonder Girls leader Sunye remarked, “The reason why we were able to return to Korea was because of the loyal support from our fans. We really missed promoting in Korea.”
She continued, “We all spent numerous sleepless nights preparing for this album. And it wasn’t just us, but our staff members also really wanted us to be able to make a successful comeback and therefore helped us tremendously.”
“We’re still young but I think we experienced a lot of things and learned a lot as well,” Sunye reflected. “I’m thankful that I’ve learned to simply know how to be thankful. There’s a lot I missed because we received so much love in such a short amount of time. The fact that there were people waiting for us to return is such a blessing and a joy,” she finished as she shed the tears she had been holding back.
Entertainer Boom then displayed his wit by changing the atmosphere on set saying, “CEO J.Y. Park, if you are watching, please stop sending the Wonder Girls to America,” which caused everyone on set to laugh.

Oblivious to Ye Eun’s fall, Sohee continues to dance alone

On November 29th’s episode of SBS‘s ’Strong Heart‘, Wonder Girls maknae Hyerim shared a hilarious story about fellow member Sohee.
She began by explaining that Ye Eun fell during one of their performances in the States. “Ye Eun unni slipped and fell on stage, then kinda sat there a bit dumbfounded“, said Hyerim. “We were all so surprised that we stopped dancing and went over to help her back up,” she continued. “But Sohee had no idea and continued to dance by herself.”
After the roars of laughter died down, Ye Eun explained, “It’s hard for me to adapt to a new time zone, so that plus our jam-packed schedule was too much for my body. I messed up during the dance when my physical condition was at its worst.”
Ye Eun added that she had never made a performance mistake before, and so when she fell, she claimed the world seemed to spin in slow motion.
‘Strong Heart’ then played the clip of Ye Eun’s fall, and it showed that Sohee did indeed continue to dance alone, oblivious to the situation behind her. Embarrassed, Sohee covered her face with her hands and remarked, “I usually have trouble hearing things, so I had no idea what was going on.”

‘Strong Heart’ then revealed the photos taken of the drunken individuals with drawings all over their faces. The photos were so shocking that it immediately caused the entire set to howl with laughter. Unfortunately, there weren’t any photos of Kim Hyun Joong himself, which proved that he’s always one of the last to get drunk.

Kim Jang Hoon thanks Super Junior for “Breakups Are So Typical of Me”

Kim Jang Hoon recently teamed up with the members of Super Junior to deliver his latest single,“Breakups Are So Typical of Me“, and he thanked his partners through his Cyworld for everything they had done for him so far.
As fans may know, Kim Jang Hoon and Heechul collaborated on this track, but as the Super Junior member had military duties and couldn’t make Kim Jang Hoon’s live performance, his fellow SuJu members performed instead.
Without further ado, read Kim Jang Hoon’s thankful blog post below:
“With yesterday’s Strong Heart, it seems that my promotions with Super Junior for “Breakups Are So Typical of Me” have finished. (I still have a few promotions left…until it becomes a big hit…lol)
Last week was supposed to be our last broadcast but thanks to ‘Strong Heart’ it was pushed to yesterday…as men are often wont to do I never had the chance to properly thank them.
Hmm…it’s hard to express in words my thanks and happiness. To Heechul for staying up late to record and film the music video until the day before his enlistment, to Yesung for stepping up to the place after his disappearance and singing with me, Eunhyuk andShindong for demonstrating their god-given talents in chreography (lol), Teukie (Leeteuk) for adding his two cents to the choreography..(he’s very strange..ha)
And whenever I went to the waiting room to eat, thanks to Ryeowook and Sungmin for giving me their seat without a word of protest, to Donghae for always laughing after every word…
And lastly to cute Kyuhyun, who kept silent at the beginning perhaps because he found me hard to be easy towards, but ended up making jokes thanks to Leeteuk and Eunhyuk.. (still being slightly scared haha)
As their senior, thanks to all Super Junior members and I wish that their road is filled with only blessings.
Since the only way I can help is to perform, if I am ever needed I’ll always make sure I can attend..
And since the only thing I have is money, contact me whenever you need a drink or a quick loan.
There’s something I learned from Super Junior.
That is passion.
I became nostalgic, thinking ‘I had that passion once..’
I promise myself to tackle the rest of my promotions with the same passion.
Thanks to my Super Junior dongsaengs
and wish them only joy in the future…
Sincerely, Kim Jang Hoon
Finally, thanks to SM Entertainment for making it all happen. Although I may not be of much help, if you ever need assistance with a concert I will always make myself free.
To SM, too, may your future be forever filled with growth..”
