2AM’s Jo Kwon shares a family photo to celebrate J.Y. Park’s birthday

2AM‘s leader Jo Kwon recently celebrated his boss’ birthday with a special post on Twitter.

On December 13th, the idol uploaded a photo of himself, J.Y. Park, and Wonder Girls‘ Sunyetogether. “The [photo] quality isn’t good, but Jin Young hyung, happy birthday once again,” he wrote.

Netizens and fans alike were pleased to see the love in JYP family, as the three labelmates wrapped their arms around each other and gave big smiles.

Fans also delivered congratulatory messages as they left, “Happy Birthday!“, “You three look like a family“, and “Awesome photo“.

Sunye sheds tears talking about her beloved fans

On the November 29th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Wonder Girls leader Sunye remarked, “The reason why we were able to return to Korea was because of the loyal support from our fans. We really missed promoting in Korea.”

She continued, “We all spent numerous sleepless nights preparing for this album. And it wasn’t just us, but our staff members also really wanted us to be able to make a successful comeback and therefore helped us tremendously.”

“We’re still young but I think we experienced a lot of things and learned a lot as well,” Sunye reflected. “I’m thankful that I’ve learned to simply know how to be thankful. There’s a lot I missed because we received so much love in such a short amount of time. The fact that there were people waiting for us to return is such a blessing and a joy,” she finished as she shed the tears she had been holding back.

Entertainer Boom then displayed his wit by changing the atmosphere on set saying, “CEO J.Y. Park, if you are watching, please stop sending the Wonder Girls to America,” which caused everyone on set to laugh.

Wonder Girls’ Sohee apologizes to Lee Seung Gi

Wonder Girls member Sohee who guest-featured on the November 29th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ shared a story about how she ran into MC Lee Seung Gi at the gym.

“When I go to the gym, I like to dress comfortably without wearing any makeup. Plus, my face tends to swells up a lot in the morning,” she began.

“I rushed to the gym one morning with absolutely no makeup on and I just happened to run into top Hallyu star Lee Seung Gi“, she continued.

“I couldn’t even look him straight in the face and I was so embarassed that I was a bit hostile when he tried to talk to me“, she said, trying to clear up any misunderstandings.

On the same episode, Wonder Girls leader Sunye confessed that she tried to commit suicide during her days as a JYP Entertainment trainee.

Wonder Girls' Sunye and Yeeun impress with a performance of "When You Believe" by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey

Wonder Girls' Sunye and Yeeun recently impressed their audience with their amazing live vocals. On November 20th, MBC aired the "Beautiful Concert" where Sunye and Yeeun sang "When You Believe," a duet originally by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey for the "Prince of Egypt" OST.

The song is well-known for the high-pitched tones of Mariah Carey, as well as Whitney Houston's powerful vocals. Wonderfuls (Wonder Girls' fans) may also recognize this song as Yeeun's audition song that enabled her to pass the JYP final auditions.

Not only showing off their English found they had honed during their time away from their home country, Sunye and Yeeun blew away their fans and their audience at the concert with their heart-warming performance and amazing vocal skills.

Watching the broadcast performance, viewers can tell that their audience were completely enthralled in their performance, which ended in a beautiful harmonization before the Wonder Girls' members thanked their audience.

According to the duo, they had "prepared a lot for this stage" and that "they felt honored to be able to perform along with an amazing orchestra."

Idols' Trainee Photos Unveiled

Photos from several idols' training periods has been drawing the attention of netizens. Recently, a thread titled "Photos of idols as trainees" was posted on a portal community.

The photos, which showcase their freshness, are of several idols who are promoting right now.
