With KARA’s “Step,” Shingdong appeared on the stage with perfect costume of Goo Hara, a ponytail, a makeup style that shows innocent and sexy looks at the same time, and a sexy outfit. He also imitated her captivating eyes and KARA’s sexy hip dance.
As Shindong came out in Goo Hara costume, other guests all cheered yelling “pretty!” and the caption on the screen also wrote “absolute beauty,” making the audience laugh. It was because people could find unexpected beauty from Shindong’s face as he lost some weight.

During a “Taxi Talkshow” on tvN, vocal trainer Jung Wonsun appeared as a guest along another vocal trainer Park Sujoo. Jung Wonsun mentioned that he is the vocal trainer of some names such as male group TVXQ, Super Junior, and Taeyeon from girl group SNSD.
He reflected on his thoughts on being a vocal trainer during the pre-debut days of several popular idol group members. “Super Junior Leeteuk and Shindong were the naughty ones,” he confessed. “Whenever we started practicing, Leeteuk had a habit to go to the restroom. Shindong loved to joke around when they were supposed to sing a sad song, making the practice even more difficult.”
On the other hand, he praised SNSD’s Taeyeon, “When I first met Taeyeon, she was only a 7th grader. She had her lesson with me once a week, but her ability to concentrate was already superior compared to her peers of the same age. While training, you wouldn’t see the image of a kid in her eyes. I always believe that this child will become something one day.”
Furthermore, Jung Wonsun revealed his first impression of TVXQ members, “I’d noticed that they’d been Lee Soo Man’s favorite, but the members themselves had this kind of hunger (of practicing) that couldn’t be cut off. There was fighting spirit in their eyes,” recalling the unforgettable experience.

In the first part of MBC’s “Sunday Sunday Night” that was broadcasted on 16th January, on the “Enjoy the Trot” segment of “Enjoy Today”, two people were each placed under a group, and had to undergo a challenge in order to obtain Sul Woondo’s new song.
On that day, Leeteuk and Shindong delivered a perfect performance of “Please” which was infused with brilliant creativity and outfits, and successfully grabbed everyone’s attention. In particular, they were singers that get “ddanddan” lines which were not more than 10 words while on stage, and through this variety programme, it was the first time that the both of them finished the whole song on their own, (so) it’s also a special stage for the two.
On the day, Leeteuk-Shindong went against the winning candidates on “Enjoy Twist” Jung Yunho-f(x)’s Krystal, and snatched the first place in a close fight by getting 95 points out of 100.
Shindong said that “Whenever I appear with Leeteuk on variety shows, when we were asked to sing a new song, people would normally say that we can’t undertake the singing role, (so) by using only both our voices to complete the song, it’s far more meaningful than anything else”, conveying his emotions.
Leeteuk said that “I’m happy to be able to get Sul Woondo sunbae’s song. We’ll work hard to record it and use it in a good way”. Currently, “Please” is available for download on the Internet, and the proceeds from the sales would be made available for the youth scholarships.
