U-KISS releases a special MV for their fans, “Lifetime For Kiss Me”

To cure the heartache left by their busy “Tick Tack” promotions in Japan, U-KISS has released a new single titled “Lifetime For Kiss Me“!

The song is a remake of UN‘s 2011 track, “Lifetime“, and the boys did their labelmate senior proud by incorporating a smooth melody reminiscent of the original track. However, U-KISS gave it a brighter touch to fill their fans with love and joy over the holiday season.

The boys will be returning near the end of the month to attend the year-end awards. Aside from their debut promotions in Japan, members Dongho and Hoon are busy with their drama, ‘Holy Land‘, while the others are pursuing individual activities of their own.

U-Kiss’s AJ is said to be a “mama’s boy” + other U-Kiss secrets revealed

U-Kiss travelled to Taiwan earlier this week in order to participate in a fan meeting held on November 19th. Shortly after getting off the plane, they participated in an interview for Channel V’s show about K-Pop and J-Pop, “Love JK.” As U-Kiss has already been to Taiwan three times, they expressed that they really missed Taiwan’s cuisine. The members became very happy when the production team gave them pearl milk tea, and were willing to answer all the questions posed to them by the host.

AJ revealed that even though this is the first time he travelled to Taiwan with U-Kiss, he actually toured around Taiwan with his family when he was little, and really misses the taste of hot pot. After this, the other members of U-Kiss revealed that no matter where AJ is, his mobile phone is always with him, but the person on the other side of the phone is not a girlfriend, but rather his mom. In order to show his love for his mom, AJ shyly made a heart shape with his hands and said “I love you” to his mom in Mandarin.

U-Kiss recently began their 3-month long stay in Japan and they have become increasingly close to each other during this time. Among the stories revealed, one in particular brought amusement. All of the members’ laundry is washed together, but without reason, there are always a few pairs of underwear missing after they are washed, and the members have failed to locate them. This has raised curiosities as to whether the members wear each other’s clothing.

Later on, the host of the show discovered that Eli’s body seemed to have changed, and in response to this, Eli honestly revealed that he has gained weight recently. He expressed that because he eats very fast, he continues eating when he sees that everyone else eating, even if he is full. It was also revealed that Eli's good cooking skills are recognized by the rest of the members, to which Eli responded, “I keep eating while I’m cooking.”

Kim Kibum changes stage name to ‘Allen’ for Japanese solo promotions

Former U-KISS member Kim Kibum has revealed that he’ll be starting solo promotions in Japan under the new name, ‘Allen‘.

On September 10th, Kibum will be greeting his Japanese fans for the first time at the ‘K-Pop Music Festival 2011 in Kagoshima‘ as an MC for the concert. He’s planning to show off his Japanese language skills, which he’s been honing for some time now.

Kibum stated, “I’m excited and looking forward to meeting my fans in Japan. I have experience MCing in Korea but it’s my first time for a K-Pop festival in Japan, so I’m determined to do well. There’s a bit of pressure since I have to speak Japanese, but I’ll be working hard to make sure I don’t make any mistakes.”

He continued, “My English name was ‘Allen Kim’ so I changed my stage name to simply show who I am. I’m using this name change as an opportunity to start anew.”

Kibum is currently spending busy days traveling back and forth between Korea and Japan for his musical, ‘Kizuna‘.

U-KISS announces official comeback with “Bran New KISS”

On March 22nd, U-KISS announced their official comeback through their fancafe for their upcoming fifth mini-album, “Bran New KISS“!

Just like how the title indicates, the album aims to mark a new start for the group as they make their first step with their two new members.

Kim Tae Hyun, the composer behind the group’s previous hit track, “Shut Up!!“, has returned for the group’s next title track, a sad hip hop song by the name of “0330“. Meanwhile, labelmate senior Paran’s P.O. collaborated with composer SWIN to produce a total of three tracks for the group.

The album features a 48-page booklet and is comprised of six tracks, which are as follows:

02. 0330 (Title)
03. Words That Hurt Me…
04. Every Day
05. I Don’t Understand
06. Miracle

The full album will hit online music sites on March 30th. The boys will be making their official comeback through Mnet’s “M! Countdown” on March 31st.

(Q) Your character business is flourishing.

(A) It’s truly beyond my expectation. Thanks to my brother Kibum that’s why it’s flourishing. Kibum even did the packaging of products himself, and also stuffed the cottonwool into the toys. The character cushions that were supplied to us and meant to be sold over 1 year has been sold out in only 2~3 months. Response in Japan and China is good too. Not long ago we also recruited 2 employees who are good in foreign language. We’ll start on aggressive overseas sales too. After the character ‘Piro Piro’ that was already released first, will be followed by another character ‘Siro Siro’. Our company is filled with the Festival Atmosphere. Haha.

(Q) How do you distribute the profits raked in from your business.

(A) I give it all to my brother. Because he’s the one working more aggressively his guts out for this.

(Q) Your brother Kibum withdrew from U-KISS. How will his future broadcast activities turn out like?

(A) He’s looking for an agency that will blend in well with him. Should there be any good agency for him, he’ll start his broadcast activities thereafter. It’ll be good if Kibum could succeed at first go, but I hope for him to become a singer who develops better and better over each stage by each step consistently.

U-KISS reveals their new member, ‘Hoon’

Earlier, NH Media declared that U-KISS would be switching out members for the New Year. After the departures of members Kim Kibum and Alexander late last month, the group’s newest addition has been unveiled today.

Named ‘Hoon‘, U-KISS’ newest member was born in 1991 and is currently a theater major at Dong Guk University. He was selected for his tall height of 180 cm, handsome looks, and impressive vocal talent. Hoon’s interests in music and acting began at a young age, and it’s reported that he underwent rigorous training to cultivate the talents for both a singing and acting career.

Hoon is also a Tae Kwon Do athlete, and briefly made a cameo in SBS’s “Athena” as a bodyguard for the president.

Representatives of NH Media stated, “The new member to take the place of Kim Kibum and Alexander is Hoon. Throughout the times, there’s been a lot of happiness, but we felt there there was a need for a change in the team. After a long discussion, we came to the decision of switching out the members.”

Hoon is the first out of two members who will be joining the group in the upcoming months, as U-KISS prepares for their activities for both Korea and overseas.

Their comeback album is scheduled to drop mid-March, but until then, fans can anticipate the reveal of the second member, as well as various promotional and UCC teasers.

I know many fans still could not get over the fact that Kibum and Alexander left U-Kiss.

There are rumours saying that the person in this video,Yeo Hoon Min is the new member of U-Kiss.He has great singing skills as shown in the clip here.

A shocking news just hit the fans today about UKiss members Xander and Kibum leaving their group.

Kibum explained on his twitter about the reason why he need to leave UKiss and also talk his about it feelings about it.

He said:

Hello, I am Ukiss’s Kibum.
No, accurately, i am Kibum who had once worked with Ukiss.

Two months passed and i’m finally gathering the courage to write a message.
of course, to conclude it, i must say that starting february 2011, i had an exclusive contract termination agreement with our company.

The company, who wanted to switch members, after requesting revocation, created it, after that day, i was no longer a part of Ukiss.

Like many people thought, in order to mold to the piro piro character business…

I believe it is completely different from leaving because of lack of interest.

Treasuring and thinking preciously of Ukiss, like nobody else could, i am proud that i never let the piro piro business interfere with any ukiss schedules..
I’ve always thought of Ukiss, members that are like my family. although my heart is sorrowed with the thought of leaving my members, i respect the company’s opinion that ukiss might possibly need a replacement due to my lacking skills.

And like this, although this is how we come to separate, i was able to learn so many things and i am so thankful that i could meet so many people, and my ukiss members.
To the people who had loved me, i’m saddened and sorry thinking of the big wounds i will give to them. i expect to participate in programs for a little while more.

Dongho, Marco, Lee Haneul. The Reunion of 'Invincible Baseball Team'

'Invicible Baseball Team' members, Marco, Lee Haneul and Dongho met once again in 'Lucky or Unlucky(Bokbulbok) Marathon'.

On the 27th, singer Mario uploaded various pictures taken in the bust and during the recording of KBS 2TV Lunar New Year Special Program 'Artists Lucky or Unlucky Marathon' and uploaded them through his twitter. About 30 artists participated in this program.

Mario wrote "I am going to start the 'Bokbulbok' marathon now~ together with Marco hyung" and attached a picture of Marco and him. His another tweet was "Cutie pie Dongho~ Really shaky but it's come out shining" and attached a picture of Dongho inside the bus.

Then, Mario tweeted again "Hyungnim who is exhausting and having a hard time~ as a result..." and attached a picture of Lee Haneul who had fallen asleep and leaning against the bus.

Mario also answered fans who were asking about T-MAX's Kim Jun "Jun is in another bus".

Mario, Kim Jun, Lee Haneul, Kim Changryul, Marco, Dongho, Oh Jiho, Kim Sungsu were once part of a KBS 2TV variety program 'Invincible Baseball Team'. Their first broadcast was in 2009 and has been receiving lots of love from the viewers. The program ended their broadcast after 1 year and 8 months on 15th December 2010. All the members expressed their regret during the closing of the program.

Mario was seen wearing 'Invicible Baseball Team' cap before the shooting started. He said "I'm wearing Invincible Baseball Team's cap today" which showed his affection for the program.

This 'Artists Lucky or Unlucky Marathon' will be airing on February 4th.

U-KISS begins preparations for U.S. debut

Boy group U-KISS is planning on entering the U.S. music market, and have already kicked off preparations for their debut.

According to information revealed by their agency, NH Media, on January 11th, the agency will be utilizing the members’ different cultural backgrounds and language skills as the base for their debut in the States.

Representatives revealed, “We’ve already listened to about 100 new songs for their new album.  The songs chosen will be group ballads, a genre which hasn’t been featured in U-KISS’s albums. Our production team in the States, “I PED,” has already prepared choreography videos.”

They continued, “We’re currently discussing how we’ll be bringing the boys over, since they have various schedules to still complete in Korea.  We’ll be balancing it with the group’s Korean comeback.”

Their album will be completed by February.
