JYJ trio are guardians of …?

On November 20th, a friend of JYJ’s uploaded cute photos of Micky Yoochun, Hero Jaejoong, andXiah Junsu posing with a very special prop: an egg.

In the photos, you can see Micky Yoochun smiling while holding the egg up to his face, and Xiah Junsu posing furtively with the egg whilst bundled up under his blanket. Jaejoong, on the other hand, had the egg perched on his shoulder, and looked almost like he wasn’t aware of it.

Xiah Junsu even tweeted, “Oh my egg~!! hahaha.”

Doesn’t it seem like they’re the egg’s triple guardians?

TVXQ Trio's First Japanese Album Ranks 3rd On Oricon Monthly Charts

JYJ's first Japanese album, released by TVXQ's YoungWoong Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu, has ranked third on the Oricon Monthly Charts.

According to Oricon, Japan's most prestigious album sales tabulation site, the JYJ unit's first Japanese album 'The...', which was released on September 8th, ranked 3rd on the Monthly Album Charts. They sold a total of 165,611 copies.

Another reason why so much attention is being focused on this album and its ranking is because 'The...' could be the first and last album the unit releases in Japan for now.

Tohoshinki’s Trio Sets A New Record for Foreign Artist, W (Double) Achievements

The first live DVD of Tohoshinki’s members JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN “THANKSGIVING LIVE IN DOME” (rhymthzone, released on 9/8) sold a total of 119,000 copies in the first week, snatching the top spot of Oricon DVD Weekly Chart.

Their album “The…” which was released on the same day also ranks first on the Oricon Album Weekly Chart, selling 140,000 copies. The last artist who held a record of having both album and DVD ranked first on both charts was ZARD with their album “Golden Best ～15th Anniversary～” and DVD “ZARD Le Portfolio 1991－2006″, which were released on 11/6/2006. The record was made 3 years and 10 months ago, with ZARD being the 6th artist to do so. For a foreign artist, this is the first time one has made such a brilliant achievement.

Moreover, they are the second foreign artist to sell more than 100,000 copies of a music DVD. The first artist to hold that record was Tohoshinki with “4th LIVE TOUR 2009～The Secret Code～FINAL in TOKYO DOME” (released on 10/12/2009) with 171,000 copies and “TOHOSHINKI VIDEO CLIP COLLECTION－THE ONE－” (released on 3/29/2010) with 109,000 copies.

TVXQ Trio Will Release a Comeback Album and Tour in October

TVXQ Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun (hereafter TVXQ trio) established a new group and their comeback in music industry in mid-October is finally official. It’s been 1 year and 2 months since their lawsuit problem with label SM Entertainment. Currently the matter of TVXQ trio is going to have comeback under cooperation with Warner Music Korea has reached final decision.

A specific showcase schedule is being coordinated, also plan to do tour to 10 countries in Asia including South Korea. This album is stressed to focus for activities in entire Asia rather than just South Korea, therefore, it’s expected that there are not many South Korea broadcast activities will happen in the future.

In the album hip-hop star Kanye West and USA AV producer Dark Child (T/N: Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins) were involved, the TVXQ trio returned to finish audio recording in United States in last summer. Members’ self composition songs are also planned to be recorded in this album.

How big the impact of TVXQ trio’s comeback in South Korea without any influence from SM Entertainment, it seems to be a hot issue to be paid attention to.


An official, “Eventhough there have been several disputes, yet the popularity of three members of TVXQ is still much powerful. The current entangled interests that still remains, we still try to work on it smoothly, and is likely to be resolved amicably.” he said.
