TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho and Big Bang’s TOP, who have recently rose as the airport fashionistas of the Hallyu Wave, have become a hot issue for wearing similar outfits.
On his return to Korea on the 11th of October after the New York-Korea Festival, U-Know Yunho could be seen wearing mirror-style sunglasses, a black print t-shirt and black pants, finishing the stylish look off with a safari jacket.
Big Bang’s TOP, who was on his way to New York for a photoshoot, wore Boeing sunglasses, a white t-shirt, black pants and a khaki safari jacket, and gave the appearance of being U-know Yunho’s doppelganger as the two stars took on a similar casual and chic look.
The jacket both stars chose is a product from Calvin Klein Jeans and is part of a sporty and stylish set with a zip-up hoodie cardigan. The two components can be worn separately or together and are perfect for chilly autumn weather.
Netizens who saw the photos left comments such as, “They both look great”, “It’s hard to pick a winner”, “Their looks perfect the style”, and “How do they make such ordinary clothes look so stylish?”
Today is the second to the last day of the 211 Seoul Fashion Week and they showcased the collection of the fashion designer named, MTVIO wherein T-ara's Eunjung was present to watch their show.
Make-up brand “Etude House” has revealed that they’ve sold out 40,000 of their special pink bunny umbrellas in just one week, thanks to their endorsement model, 2NE1’s Dara!
Orders began pouring moments after pictures of Dara holding the umbrella were released.
The umbrellas were created with Dara’s rabbit nickname as the motif, and were sold for $2 USD if customers purchased over $20 worth of products.
‘Etude House’ revealed that Dara not only raised their sales, but even brought in a foreign consumer base. Tourists recently visited the store in Myungdong and bought the umbrella’s entire series of colors after seeing her picture.
Representatives commented, “We used Dara’s nickname of ‘Santokki’ as the idea for our sweet bunny umbrella. The response has been better than anything we ever expected, so we’re all very surprised.”
Last week's premiere of YG on Air featured Bom's live performances of 'You and I' and an acoustic version of her newest single 'Don't Cry'. Blackjacks were also treated to CL's quick preview of their upcoming single 'Lonely' as well as the return of our girls' dorkiness. YG on Air, became instantly successful, not only was it viewed by a lot of Korean fans, but overseas fans were also able to enjoy the show through YG's promised English subtitles. In fact, so many people attempted to watch the show that Naver suffered a severe strain to their servers even causing me2day to crash. Even the constant slowdowns couldn't damper the mood as many people praised the show and its unique format.
YGLife made a lot of fans excited, teasing the upcoming show, fans wondered what was in store for Episode 2. Luckily, right on time, at 6:05PM KST, we were treated with the second installment of YG On Air. Check it out below:

Take a Closer Look: the Meeting
The show starts off with the infamous Black Eyed Peas leader will.i.am, who is currently producing for 2NE1's upcoming US album, paying a visit to the girls.
Even though the girls are very shy, giving out that awkward aura, Will.I.Am's enthusiasm was shown throughout his visit. His adoration for the girls' 'Can't Nobody' performance on last MAMA and the tapping of his feet during Park Bom's'Don't Cry' MV shows how much he monitors and anticipates the quartet. After a little tour in the YGE building, Will.I.Am bid farewell to the girls while he jokingly kicked Dara's feet because of their coincidental same shoes.

After Will left, Minzy, the resident BEP stan, gushed "I'm a fan, a fan! He said he'll let us hear a lot of good songs, songs that make you want to dance. In the future, when the songs come out, I want to dance while listening." CL also discussed Will's visit, "he originally came for some work in Korea, but since we were here too, he came to see us, and Teddy-oppa, and he let us hear a lot of music. Tomorrow he'd be working on music as well." Finally, Dara adds, "I don't know when we'll be able to show you but right now good songs keep coming out, so sooner or later, we'll be able to let you hear it right?"
No matter how long it takes, we Blackjacks will wait patiently for the US album, right?
Take a Closer Look: the Music Video
After a segment on Bigbang's Japanese tour preparations, the much anticipated 'LONELY' MV's BTS were revealed. From the outfits, to the song, to the sets everything looks poised for another fantastic 2NE1 MV.
During the shoot, Minzy, ever the dutiful maknae, notes that she was "a bit late" for the first day of MV filming. Dara revealed that this music video is very unique compared to their past MVs. This time, they won't have a scene with all of them together, rather its a shoot where all members would act as a single person. She concludes that, "it seems like a really different new video will come out."
In contrast to Dara's excitement, Minzy is somewhat unsure of the MV concept, "it's a bit awkward, the scene of the set is a bit weird. Coming out after so long, it feels weird." Her apprehension doesn't keep her from showing us some of the cool new choreography. We also didn't miss Dara's tease of some of the new "hand movements" either. Leave it to 8D Bom to end on a cute note, "today, how do you find our new hair styles?"
Given the wonderful level of their previous videos, we can only imagine how awesome Lonely will be. May 12th can't get here fast enough.
Dara also reminds everyone to anticipate the upcoming episodes of YG on Air each week, "we'll supply you with many interesting and funny videos so please watch a lot!"
Big Bang’s Daesung revealed that he was once in danger of getting cut from the group.
Daesung and Seungri recently guested on Mnet’s “Beatles Code” and talked about their fashion styles. Daesung also talked about the time when he met Seungri for the first time, saying, “Seungri likes clothes like denim jackets, and he was wearing one when we met for the first time. If you had seen him back then, you would’ve also thought that he couldn’t wear clothes well.”
Seungri countered by saying, “When I saw Daesung for the first time, he was carrying a big tank of purified water. I didn’t think he was an idol trainee, but a water delivery man instead.”
Daesung elaborated about his lacking sense of fashion, and said, “Before our debut, I was practicing very hard in our practice room and our stylist came at 2AM and asked me go to shopping for clothes with her. I asked her why we were going shopping in the middle of the night and she told me that our CEO was going to cut me from the team if she couldn’t fix my fashion style in a week. I almost didn’t become a Big Bang member because I couldn’t wear clothes well.”
He showed his thanks for his stylist by saying, “My stylist worked really hard at that time. She continued to work really hard and so I’m here now.”
Seungri got his moment of spotlight when he revealed, “When I was carrying out my solo promotions, I found my own style. After that, my poses [for photoshoots] became more varied.”
On April 30th, Big Bang’s stylish leader G-Dragon guested on MBC’s “Infinity Challenge – Dinner Show Special” and received some criticism on his fashion from gagman Jung Hyung Don.
G-Dragon attended the dinner show wearing a black skull print jacket and a pink muffler. Jung Hyung Don dared to go out on a limb by stating, “Your muffler doesn’t match your outfit. Mufflers were popular last year, and a blue one would have looked better than your pink one. Take off a few of your rings as well.”
Jung Hyun Don bravely continued, “It’s not G-Dragon’s music that’s the problem, but his fashion. I want to change it for him!” With a nervous laugh, he quickly added, “This is my first time putting my life on the line while saying something on broadcast.”
Fellow gagman Park Myung Soo foreshadowed a storm of hateful replies that he’ll be receiving soon by commenting, “You’re dead meat now.” Jung Hyung Don agreed by stating, “I’m going to be staying away from the internet for a bit.”
As a nod to their conversation, producers put up a caption that read, “VIPs making reservations for our message board?”
Singer Psy, who also guested on the program, brought about much laughter by showing off his sweaty arm pits. Yoo Jae Suk burst out, “A hot spring exploded!”
In 2NE1’s Bom’s comeback solo music video for “Don’t Cry“, fans noticed that she was wearing a posthumous work of designer Alexander McQueen.
The piece she’s wearing costs a whopping $20,000 USD, but according to fashion industry representatives, the dress has the potential to cost more since it’s McQueen’s final creation before his death.
The dress was under possession by McQueen’s family, but after finding out that McQueen had worked with Big Bang and 2NE1 in the past, they accepted Yang Hyun Suk’s request to feature it in Bom’s latest music video.
