We recorded two songs from Mozart that are going to be used for the bonus making film section of the Musical Concert DVD~^^* After consulting with Junsu on the two songs he really wanted to record, I was able to experience once more the amazing match made in heaven between Levay's music and Junsu. Fan Account - Kim Junsu Musical Concert

The concert last night was scheduled to begin at 8pm, but I arrived at 5. Since I got there so early, I didn't see a lot of Korean fans. I did see a lot of Japanese fans though, they were standing nearby, buying fan merchandise and taking photos with the posters of Junsu. Everyone seemed to be really excited. More people began to show up and I stopped to chat with some of the other fans. Those who'd seen the concert the previous day raved about how wonderful it was, saying that they had to see it a second time and that they wanted to buy tickets for a few more performances. keke~


Doors opened at around 7 and the line was mostly made up of Japanese fans who had even brought their Bigeast towels along to show their support. We waited for an hour after being seated, and suddenly I heard people speaking Chinese beside me. Upon inquiry, I found out that they'd come all the way from Hong Kong. It was nice to know that there was a good number of Chinese fans around ^^


The performance began at 8:15 (the security was quite tight, so it took some time to have everybody seated). The opening was a real shocker to the audience; the performance began with Mozart. The actors were all extremely professional, but it wasn't until Junsu appeared that the screaming began! Junsu was the same as always, as I was watching him, I felt myself being drawn into his performance and the story behind the lyrics he was singing.


Throughout the concert, the audience remained silent, since it was, after all, a musical concert. The performers were awarded with a deafening round of applause (of course, Junsu received the most applause). I was awestruck from beginning to end. Besides Mozart, Junsu also performed Elizabeth. When he walked out after changing into a different set of clothes (a modern, white outfit), his presence put everyone in a trance…


The composer Levay, who wrote a song for Junsu especially for the musical concert, also made an appearance, performing with Junsu during the second to last number. Their collaboration was amazing!


Of course, what had me most excited was the encore! The Korean version of 'Intoxication' sent the audience into a flurry of excitement! All the red lightsticks came on and the fans were cheering enthusiastically, it was truly a beautiful moment. Finally, Junsu and Mr Levay made their way around the stadium once to thank the audience. Everybody rushed up to the front, hoping to get closer.


All in all, the concert was a joy to both the eyes and ears. Junsu never fails to amaze me with his sincere performances, and I'm sure everyone else was as touched as I was. I'm so proud of Junsu and I wish him good luck in the performances to come. Hwaiting dear Junsu!

Junsu's Musical Concert

First, I would like to celebrate the fact that I finally get to see you, Kim Junsu. Even though you are the only one of them, but you are the first who I saw in person.

My friend and I took 8th line, and it turned out the exit is too far away from the gymnasium when we got out from the subway. We were half dead when we finally reach the venue where it was crowded. The official merchandise seems to be sold at the entrance (I'm not so sure since I don't understand Korean). I bought a CD and a T-shirt. However, what was so depressing was, when I reached home, then only I realized that the CD I bought doesn't even have one song sang by Junsu. I really wanted to scold someone at that time. TT.TT

It is prohibited to take pictures inside the venue as in other concerts. Although the whole place was drowned in craziness over the song 'intoxication', everyone was well behaved.

First, I need to state clearly that due to my poor Korean, I don't quite understand the songs. When Junsu came out with little Mozart to do the introduction, he accidently stepped on a tape which was left on the floor and it sticks stubbornly on his foot. In the end, he had to tear it off himself. We all burst out in laughter. Regardless the songs from Mozart or Elizabeth, Junsu had provided us a superb stage. His overall condition was great today. The other actors were good too, especially the actress's solos.

After that, it was the grandfather’s turn who came from a far away country to greet us on stage. Grandfather Levay wore the hanbok given by a fan site at the ending. He hold little Mozart's hand while they were going around the stage.

Please forgive me as I can't recall the sequence clearly.

Later on during the MC part, Junsu changed his Mozart outfit into white clothes and his hair style was back to normal. During the MC part, because he was teased by the others, he had to sing 'hug'. Although it was very short, everyone was very happy.

He is so handsome, but under his white leather shoes there are black shoe heels. Junsu, do you think that I won't notice those high heels? Hehehe... *evil grins*
It was followed by another song and he dressed up nicely in grayish blue silky suit.

After that was the focus point of the night - 'Intoxication'.
It was overflowed with sexiness even though the song was short.
Initially, he was dancing at the main stage, and then he moved towards the center of the front stage.
You have to witness the sexiness of the choreo with your own eyes before you could tell how stunning it is.
The fans whose seats were at the inner field were so lucky... %>______<% When he reached the front stage, he knelt down and took off his clothes. My soul was completely taken away by his sexiness... Everyone was squealing insanely. (Omitted) When everyone was calling for encore at the end, Junsu... you... We only shouted encore for few times, but you already couldn't wait to appear on stage. You are too adorable! After that, it seemed like his eye was itchy. So, he rubbed it and eventually smeared his eyeliner. I think it was the fans sitting in the front row who told him about his eyeliner. And again, he rubbed it. And... It became worse... Junsu walked to the left side of the stage. He walked towards my direction! My friend's reflex was fast, she darted to the inner field. I was hesitating. The others just about to rush there moments after. Kim Junsu, you were just 1 meter away from me. That was really close. Finally, I get to see you, the one out of five. There I was, standing there, dumb folded. I even forgot to take pictures or video. I only get to get a hold of myself after he went back to the stage. Last but not least, thanks for reading. I have spazzed too much. Marvellous Mozart! A Wonderful night! It was very late when we came out. There are merchandises sold at the road side. The small pillow is so cute! However, I was dragged away by my friend because she was afraid that we couldn't catch the train. I am considering of buying that pillow tomorrow, and the idea of stopping by at the entrance to listen to the songs again is not that bad too... Xiah Junsu dishes on his upcoming musical

Xiah Junsu is the first ever idol to prepare a musical concert with his own name headlining it.
Perhaps such is the reason why he’s working harder than ever preparing for his four day musical, set to begin on October 7th. Junsu will be working alongside musical stars such as Seo Bumseok, Min Young Ki, Shin Young Sook, and others.
Already having received the rookie award for “Mozart!” at the Musical Awards, Junsu became widely known for his strong concentration skills and the amount of effort he puts into his rehearsals.
In a recent meeting at his rehearsal hall, Junsu met with reporters and honestly confessed his thoughts regarding his first ever self named concert.
“Thank you for your interest. The pressure of being alone is bigger than ever, being the first concert under my name. This performance was only possible with the support of the director and producers. We’ve aready been rehearsing together for three months now so the level of synchronization with the other actors is as great as ever. We’re all working hard and I believe that we’ll be able to show everyone a great concert.”
The concert seats a 10,000 member audience and began production last May.

“I released a single in Japan in May and this will be the first time I’m performing one of the songs in Korea. The song holds a message of my feelings for my fans.” Junsu’s “Intoxication” is considered one of the highlights of his musical, being the first ever performance Korea

Co-producer Yoo Heesung revealed, “‘Mozart!’ was sold out in February and was successfully completed. Junsu’s concert will be like a galla in style where the actors will be able to connect with the audience more as opposed to singing a few songs and going off stage. Levay also fell in love with Kim Junsu’s performance after watching him and has expressed that he would love to produce songs together. He also said that he will be writing a song specifically for Kim Junsu.”
Sylvester Levay is a world famous composer, also having worked on “Mozart!” alongside playwright Michael Kunze.


One member of the musical revealed, “Kim Junsu never misses a day of rehearsal. None of us anticipated too much since he is a famous idol star but he has exceeded all of our expectations. He works very hard.”

With so much effort being put into his musical, what meaning does it hold to him? Junsu replied, “A musical is a medium that gives me bravery and strength. It’s not just a stage that allows me to sing and act. It’s not something that I can just lightly accomplish, but rather something that I want to consistently work on into my future.”

The interview concluded with a question on TVXQ and whether he kept in contact with the members. Junsu simply replied, “Each individual member is working hard on his activities. Just watching each other work feels like support in itself.”

TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu gains strength from members for solo activities

Currently preparing for his musical entitled “Kim Junsu Musical Concert-Levay with Friends,” TVXQ/JYJ’s Xiah Junsu recently stated that he receives strength through his fellow members.

Earlier today at Seoul’s Choong Mu Art Hall, Xiah’s held an open practice session which several media outlets came to report on (think of it as a press conference but with more action). During the session, he performed several numbers from his previous musical “Mozart!” for his guests.



In addition, Xiah stated – which many Cassies would be happy to hear – that he receives his strength from his members. To be exact, he said, “Just watching the image each of us go through our activities gives me support and cheers me on,” as he sent on his thanks to his members.



(Note: He did not specify JYJ nor TVXQ as a whole but we’d like to think that he’s talking about the latter group.)



In regards to working on musicals, Xiah said, “Musicals have given me a lot of courage and strength…Through musicals, I can sing and another one of my dreams have come true…I want to cry and laugh with my fans; in essence, I want to breath with my fans.”



“Kim Junsu Musical Concert-Levay with Friends” is set to premiere at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium next month from the 7th to the 10th!

Jay & Se7en to appear as special guests at Xiah's musical?

'Xiah Junsu, Se7en, and Jaebum on one stage?'

With a recent report stating that Se7en and Jaebum will be appearing as guests on Kim Junsu's musical performance, the stage of the three singers have been attracting much attention.

Many began anticipating what kind of relationship the three held, but it has been revealed that the report was actually a broacast accident.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, SBS reported on Kim Junsu's musical concert, 'Levay WIth Friends,' and added the caption that singers Se7en and Jaebum will be making an appearance as special guests as well.

However, Se7en and Jaebum will not be attending the musical concert but will be performing at 'Seoul Soul Festival' on October 8th. The producers misunderstood the two events and mixed them up.

An associate of the musical stated on the 24th, "We received an influx of questions from fans so we went back and checked what was going on. We figured out that there has been a misunderstanding between the two events. Only musical-related stars will be present at Kim Junsu's concert."

Fans' Support to Junsu's Musical

This is the second fans support planned by PicnicXiah (Junsu's Korean fansite) for Junsu's musical, the day after Avex released the official statement to suspend JYJ's activities in Japan.


This time there were more people gathered for rehearsal.
We brought different types of simple food there during the rest time.
There are delicious rice balls which are suitable to eat whether in a warm sunny day or during the freezing cold weather and beautiful cupcakes . ^^
The beverage includes soft drinks, mate tea, lemon juice and so on.
When the staff opened the door to bring the food in, we heard Junsu's singing voice!
It sounded like a song in Elizabeth, it is really high pitched~~~ Such a coincidence that the part we heard was before the end of the song.
After the ending, all the actors bestowed him with thunderous applause.
TT TT TT TT Even the actors were all clapping their hands, not to mention us who brought the food there, we were applausing while standing TT TT TT TT


The staff and actors told Junsu, 'Please enjoy it~'
Junsu answered 'Okay~!!!', his mood seemed quite good, the atmopshere in the practise room was great too~
After they finished the food, the person who came out to greet us included the actors and director, as well as our main character Junsu!!! He suddenly showed up to greet us~

We initially worried that Junsu might feel depressed due to the incident happened yesterday, but we were relieved when we saw his bright smile and the way he talked~

Musical Concert Starring Kim Junsu, VIP Seats are Sold Out in 1 Minute

Showing off an all time record of pre-order ticket sales in musical history, the VIP seats of “Kim Junsu Musical Concert & Levay with Friends” are sold out in only one minute, proving how the concert has garnered a hot interests from public.

The concert is built up with participation of the world music master Sylvester Levay, along with Junsu who also acted as leading role in “Musical Mozart!”, as well as many more Korean top musical actors.

The interests has been piled up particularly since the announcement of “Mozart!” highlight performance that is the release of new song of Junsu that is worked by Levay’s musical “Elizabeth” production.

Booming Anticipation For ‘Elisabeth’ Performance And Kim Junsu Musical Concert

The response to the ‘Kim Junsu Musical Concert-Levay with Friends’ is heated.

It showed reservation statistics never before seen in the musical industry and ranked top of the weekly charts for musicals as soon as tickets were released on Interpark and Yes24.

The fourth round of tickets were released on the 6th, and all VIP seats were sold out in one minute, and proved once more the popularity of the upcoming concert.

Xiah Junsu Musical Concert To Be Held

Xiah Junsu will hold the 'Kim Jun Soo Musical Concert' at the Olympic Sports Stadium for four days, starting from October 7th.

With a special request from Grammy Award winning, world renowned composer Sylvester Levay, the concert has been planned with Kim Junsu as the main character to show the highlights of 'Mozart!' as well as the Austrian musical 'Elizabeth', which will debut in Korea in 2012.

Composer Levay will fly in to Korea in September for the concert and will bring with him a song composed especially for Xiah Junsu to perform at this concert.

Levay is planning to join Kim Junsu on stage for this piece and it was found that Levay holds great affection for the singer as he even found and watched all of Kim Junsu's past performances as part of the group TVXQ.

Kim Junsu, who is preparing for his first musical concert, stated, "I was able to play a special role in Mozart, and found myself falling for the charm of the new genre of music I encountered," and "We will be introducing Composer Levay's famous production 'Elizabeth' for the first time in Korea along with highlights of the musical 'Mozart!' I hope that this will be a special time for the fans of the musical to experience a new side of the musical."

Representative Um Hong Hyun of EMK Musical Company showed great confidence in the concert and stated, "The staff will be comprised of skilled people from Europe, Japan and Korea in order to create a memorable stage for the concert," and "Kim Junsu will present himself as an artiste like never before to his fans and is working hard to produce a concert that will move the audience with music alone. Please anticipate it."

Kim Junsu, who played the lead role of 'Wolfang Mozart' in January, broke the controversy regarding idols performing in musicals without verification of their capabilities.

He completed his successful debut in the musical industry by receiving the 'Best Male Newcomer Award' and 'Popularity Award' at The 4th Musical Awards for his explosive vocal skills and detailed delivery of emotions.

40 of the best musical actors will perform at the concert including Seo Bum Seok, Min Young Gi, Shin Young Suk, Bae Hae Sun and Jung Seon Ah. Kim Junsu is planning on performing in 'Elizabeth' with Park Eun Tae and Jeon Dong Seok.

Tickets will be on sale from September 1st for four days and will be available at Interpark and Yes24.
