Don't Cry is a "Perfect All Kill" for April 23, 2011
at
18:34
Yesterday, YGLife reported that Park Bom was Certified as a regular All-Kill on Instiz' ichart. What is a regular all-kill?
A regular AllKill is when a song has the #1 Daily Ranking on the Top 7 Korean Digital Music Sites (Soribada, Dosirak, Melon, Mnet, Naver, Daum, Cyworld, Bugs apparently Monkey3 is not included in the Top 7). That alone is an impressive feat for any artists.
However, in the 24 hours since then, Don't Cry has managed to become a PERFECT ALLKILL.

A Perfect Allkill is when, in addition to being #1 on the Top 7 Korean Digital Music Sites (Daily), the song ALSO has the best streaming "glade." According to DC2NE1, "[y]esterday was an all-kill just on music sites~ Today, it was an all-kill on music sites, ringtones, and caller ringtones!^^" WOW!!!
In addition, as you can see below, Don't Cry has been consistently number 1 on Melon since the first few hours of its release, showing remarkable strength as a single despite the tough competition.

Don't Cry is #1 on all Digital Real-Time charts, #1 on the Daily Charts and #1 on the Mobile charts.. after three days its grasp on #1 just gets stronger and stronger.

CNBlue – Tops Music Charts in Japan, Korea and Taiwan
at
16:16
CN Blue has topped one of Japan’s most prestigious album charts today to become the top album seller in all three of Asia’s leading music markets, following Korea and Taiwan earlier this month. According to CN Blue’s management agency FNC Music, the boy band’s first regular album, “First Step” was the top selling album on the online pre-order sales charts of Japan’s Tower Records, the country’s largest record store. The Korean band surpassed pre-order sales of AKB48, Japan’s most popular idol group, reflecting their growing popularity all over Asia.
CN Blue’s new album has already been a smashing hit in Korea as it ranked #1 on various local online charts and weekly music shows such as KBS “Music Bank,” SBS “Inkigayo,” and Mnet “M! Countdown!” Also, “First Step” was the number one album on Taiwan’s “G-Music: J-Pop Weekly Chart” last week. The feat was all the more impressive because the group didn’t even release the “First Step” album in Taiwan yet, and had not run a single album promotion for it either.
“After the release of ‘First Step,’ we sold a total of 130,000 copies so far, including the special limited edition. If you add the license albums sold in overseas markets, the figure is expected to be a lot higher,” FNC Music said. “CN Blue members are very happy that fans from abroad are showing so much love,” it added.
CN Blue went as high as number two on Japan’s Oricon Chart last year, and became the first Korean artist to record double platinum in Taiwan with their two mini albums, “Blue Tory” and “Blue Love.” With “First Step,” CN Blue became only the third artist in Korea to reach the 100,000 milestone in album sales this year.

Big Bang overpowers TV music chart 3 weeks in a row
at
17:18
Five-member male group Big Bang dominated televised music charts for three straight weeks as of yesterday.
Big Bang's "TONIGHT," the title track to their fourth mini-album released in late February, again scored the highest rank on the K-pop chart of weekly KBS music program "Music Bank" for the third time followed on SBS' music show "Inkigayo," for the third week as well.
"Thank you for awarding us with this prize. That's all I wanted to say," said member Daesung during his group's acceptance speech on "Music Bank" held last Friday.
"Words can't describe how thankful we are for this award. We'll work harder to repay you with a stage that could truly touch your heart," said Big Bang members upon receiving the Mutizen Award on "Inkigayo" on Sunday.
This is Big Bang's ninth win in total including their three consecutive wins on music cable network Mnet's weekly music program "M! CountDown" which is being aired every Thursday.
Other singers that appeared on "Inkigayo" on Sunday included TVXQ, Wheesung, K.Will, MBLAQ, INFINITE, Lee Hyun, Kim Hyun-jung, ZE:A, Flower, CHI CHI, MF and Girls Day.

2AM album grabs No. 1 spot on Taiwan music chart
at
20:24
The website for the prestigious G-Music chart showed Wednesday that 2AM’s latest album “Saint o’clock” topped its weekly K-J POP chart as of November 18, just a week after the album's release in the country on November 12.
The album is 2AM's first full-length release in Korea after several singles but their first-ever release in Taiwan. The record has also gone on sale in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
Over 20 media outlets from neighboring Asian countries had turned up at the showcase for the album in Korea on October 20 where 2AM introduced the newest release and announced their plans to expand their singing career into markets overseas.
Meanwhile, “Saint o’clock” has fared well in Korea as well, with its title track “You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls” taking the top slots of numerous major music charts for several weeks straight.
The group is currently preparing for a nationwide tour which kicks off at University's Hwaseong Tiger Dome on December 24.
2AM composed of members Jo Kwon, Jinwoon, Seulong and Changmin, debuted in 2008 with single “This Song" which immediately topped Korea's music charts.
They are known for their hit ballads including "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" and "I Did Wrong" as well as having branched out into various facets of the entertainment industry such as hosting radio shows and appearing on variety programs.
