The Boss' Garam & X-5's Gun Debut as MCs at Japanese Concert

The Boss' Garam & X-5's Gun Debut as MCs at Japanese Concert

Open World Entertainment labelmates The Boss' Garam and X-5's Gun made their MC debuts at the "K-Pop Festival Christmas Edition" at the Yokohama Arena on December 3.

The three-hour-long concert saw the likes of Shin Hye Sung, MBLAQ, Infinite, Park Jung Min, X-5, The Boss, Boyfriend, Park Hyun Bin, and Code-V perform. SS501's Park Jung Min hosted the first half while Garam and Gun took over the second.

Garam and Gun especially impressed everyone with their fluent Japanese, coming both from their studies and, in Garam's case, long promotions within Japan. The Boss performed "Love Power," "Love Parade," and "Lady" while X-5 performed their debut track, "Don't Put On A Show," and their new track, "Do You Want to See Me Go Crazy."

The two new MCs said, "We were nervous to the point of shaking because it was both our first time. Fortunately, we didn't make any mistakes but we realize that there are still aspects we lack in so we'll improve on those for next time. It was a great experience, and we hope to do better."

The Boss will be releasing their fourth single on December in Japan while X-5 is slated for a mini-album comeback on December 8.

The Boss reveals ‘making-of video’ from “Lady” jacket shoot

On November 1st, The Boss shared a making-of video from the set of their “Lady” album jacket shoot.
In the video, Hyunmin cracks his voice while trying to sing, but defends himself hotly by saying he practiced a lot and so his voice was practically gone. Later, he talks about his admiration for Im Jae Bum because they both have husky voices. “I seriously cried (hearing him sing). I thought, ‘wow this kind of voice is so charming’,” he said.
At one point, leader Mika finds a hole in the ground and tells Jay that it belongs to a snake. “A snake is going to come out. During the day the snake isn’t very active, but at night they will slither out one by one”.

The Boss are Safe In Japan

greetings . heyy guys , the news about japan earthquake and tsunami have been the top news and headlines lately right ? and as we all know , everyone is worrying japanese and so do to our kpop idols that still at japan . early today , i was informed that kara , 2ne1 and jyj's junsu has safely arrived seoul . its a good relief right ? but still , i keep worrying about D.NA The Boss that still there , Japan . but fortunately someone give me this link and it stated that The Boss are safe in Japan . yayy ! i was so thankful . check it here guys :

The BOSS management, @theboss0304, tweeted during the tsunami a few hours ago and said, “Don’t worry, the members are safe, lots of things are occurring in Japan. Please pray for them”. It was also relieving for the fans that The BOSS tweeted while the tsunami is occurring in the coasts of Japan.

Mika tweeted I am alive!” and @OHAHOHH, The BOSS’ noona, replied to his tweet after a few minutes saying, “You scared me! The aftershock is still strong. So if you feel shaking, go outside of the building away from objects and be careful of glass!”. @OHAHOHH Also talked to Injoon via twitter asking if he was okay and Injoon said, yes yes i didn’t get hurt” in a very calm and polite way.

Fortunately, Karam and Former Xing member Gwangchul’s tweets made the fans less worried by their cute replies to each other.Gwangchul mentioned Karam on his tweet saying, “[you] have to live…”. After a few minutes, Karam replied and said, @skc_dj really? kekeke” in a sarcastic way.

I wish everybody’s okay and I wish that your family and friends didn’t get affected by the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and the tsunami that occurred in Japan and the counties near it. Be safe everyone! Pray for The BOSS and the people that got affected!

The BOSS To Debut In Japan Under Sony Music

Although the Boss’ Karam recently had a health scare because of enteritis, he now has something to celebrate.

According to the Japanese Daily Sports, the BOSS will begin full-fledged activities in Japan under Sony Music Records in February 2011.

They will also be releasing their Japanese debut album in February.

The boys are currently starring in the show, Made in BS Japan, and they will be in Osaka on November 3rd for their next showcase.

Their Japanese management company, Digital Adventure, says, “Sony Music Records noted the BOSS’ exceptional musicality. They are not a Korean group advancing in Japan, instead we are developing talented artists. We are looking long term at the big picture.”
